This was a fantastic movie in so many levels. First, it was action packed from even the first 2 minutes of the movie! The background music also made everything even more exciting. Even though it did not fully depict everything from the book; moviewise, we aren't criticizing it as the book, but as the movie. It was great.

Let me first start off by saying I'm not a big Harry Potter fan and I haven't gotten a chance to see the first three yet. But after seeing the Goblet of Fire I was very surprised at how good it was. Yea it was a bit long but it certainly was an entertaining film and so was this one. Although I thought the Goblet of Fire had more action in it then The Order of The Phoenix. I'd say it's a worthy entry into the series. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Gary Oldman and the rest of the cast deliver good performances especially the woman who played Umbridge. She was a villain you just love to hate. Some few flaws were that many of the other villains lacked character development and screen time. This is true to Ralph Fiennes' Vlodermont who was an excellent in the role but is only in for pobably the last five or ten minutes. However he does tear up the screen with surly menace whenever he's in it which unfortunately isn't a lot in this chapter of the Harry Potter series. Another character who lacked development and screen time was Helena Boham Carter's Beatrix. She doesn't have many lines or much time on the screen but she does play a truly evil and ruthless villain. Besides those minor flaws the rest of the film made up for it. It's got humor and some impressive action sequences that mostly hapen near the end. With wizards battling each other in which one of the character's does die but I won't tell you who. Plus there is an amazing battle between Dumbledore and Vlodermont that might not last long but it's an incredible match to watch. This may not have been the best movie I've ever seen and not one of my absolute favorites but it's certainly an entertaining movie which makes me want to see the next one in the series when it comes out in theatres.

The only sucessfuly character in the movie was Umbridge, the ruthless villan from the Department of Magic. Other characters, including the trio, seemed to have so less time for acting. Honestly, I do not know who came up with the idea that newspaper transition was much more important than giving the characters some more developing time. Scenes after scenes we saw them plainly running from one place to ther other with dreadful and abrupt transition. This movie doesn't flow right, it doesn;t flow at all; even though it was a bit difficult to track for time in the third and 4th film, at least their cutting and editing was "fine," and their story flows smoothly without giving viewers headche each time a scene is changed. The CG effect,I have hoped that I will see the same standard throughout the series. But this time I am grave to see those two Dementors becoming two hooded clowns, and the thestrals, I am out of words.Rowling may not have given good descriptions in the book, but you have done so well on Dobby, Buckbeak, merpeople and all those marvelous magical creatures, what went wrong? Did they cut budget from CG to make more newspaper clipping or something?? Why do I have to see the terrible sight of Thestrals and the completely pointless struggle of Harry's "mind against Voldermort" as if he was suffering from dissociative personality disorder. I mean, that boy really IS delusional, the movie proved that to us.The whole battle in the Department of Magic was just a joke, a terrible, terrible joke that I could not laugh at all. I wonder if Umbridge's actress payed the screenplay so she could be the only spot light of the movie. Not even Sirius' death and Volder's battle with Dumbledore could beat. Hopefully the last two will be BETTER. I don't agree with most of the changes in story for the 3rd and 4th movies, but I do like the artistic style of the 3rd and the eventful, adrenaline-driven 4th. And the 5th, I guess I will only watch it after Schindler's List.

This is a kiddie movie, no more and no less, and not a very good one. I was pretty much bored and almost snoozed off, but I suppose it will hold the interest of kids under 14 or so. The most interesting thing about this film was watching what great lengths the makers of the movie have to go to to make Daniel Radcliff look younger and smaller than he really is. Lots of odd angles and oversized furniture, etc. And I was surprised to see Shrek show up in the part of the Giant, but then again cameos are always fun. I wonder if Harry will show up in Shrek 4?

I saw all of the previous Harry Potter movies and this one was the worst of them all. It looked like the people putting this loser together gave up after the first 3 minutes. Save your money and wait for the DVD if you must see it.

Once again a very enjoyable movie. The battle of the witches and wizards was spectacular.

not being a Harry Potter fan, just went to please someone else. however, it was enjoyable. Some times it was hard to understand a lot of the dialogue. But i thought it was well done for the most part.

I was so disappointed!!!!! I reread the book before I went and glad I did because I would've been lost. I realize the book was very long and there could not have been a 4 hr. movie, but there is something wrong with the rationale when the longest book is the shortest movie. I felt the characters were so under developed in this movie, it didn't do them justice. This book is such a pivotal part of the whole saga yet the movie left so much to be desired. PLEASE, PLEASE find a new director for the last two movies, don't let this woderful story go out like this!!!!!

Before I start I would like to talk about the characters' looks. Is it just me or is Harry's hair supposed to look like it did in the first two? Does it change in any of the books? I have the same question for Hermoine's hair. Even though she looks better the way it is now, shouldn't it still be bushy? I think that they should stop worrying about making the actors look good and just concentrate on sticking to the story that J.K. Rowling wrote. For those that were disappointed by the fifth movie I only need to ask: what did you expect? After the first two the movies have steadily grown worse. Not only that, but the fifth book was easily the worst out of the entire series. I read all of the books without a problem, but the fifth one was full of useless description; therefore, I expected the movie to be the worst movie I have ever seen. When I watched it I was a little surprised. The movie was not horrible. The only thing I really had a problem with was the annoying transitions with the newspaper headlines. Other than that I enjoyed it just about as much as I enjoyed the book. For those that loved the movie and have not read the book: the book, even though it was the worst out of all seven, was still better than the movie. I encourage you to try and read through the pointless description, no matter how inane it may be. The book has much more in it. There's a lot more to Snape's character in the book. There's also more to the conversation with Dumbledore at the end, not to mention a longer and more fulfilling climax at the Department of Mysteries. The movie was not good, but it was not bad either. After reading the books this was the only one I was unsure about watching in theaters. Now that it's done I cannot wait until the last two come out.

HOw disappointing was this movie!!! If you didn't read the book, you would have no clue as to what was going on. I expected to see the fight seen as discribed in the book and the entry into the ministry left alot to be desired. What were they thinking? Sometimes, you just have to stay true to the book. I hope they get a new director and better writers for the Blood Prince.
