Date ![]() Helpful Rating 1 out of 2 users found this helpful Posted: 7/29/2004A review of Hanging Up by peterbilt50 i found Hanging Up to be one of the best movies of meg ryan's career. not only is there a great cast, but the story, at times hilarious, at times touching, and often poignant, connects well with many people. it hit home with my family, especially my mother, who had to deal with her ailing mother while raising a family, working, and receiving little support from family members. in the end, however, she made it because the family learned to pull together, and that's what this movie's about. it takes the story of a disillusioned, struggling family relationship and becomes great in its portrayal of unification. a must see, and meg ryan is captivating Was this review helpful? The reason that I first rented it is because I knew My best friend would be in it, and my best friend is Paige.W! she played as Eve in the flashbacks of the movie."; This is now one of my favorite movies."; I'v seen it so many times!
