Rob Zombie....I love him but how can you remake a classic? Halloween is one of my faves of all time...No one can replace Donald Pleasance....Not even Malcolm McDowell...Sorry..:-(

John Carpenter is a genuis! not like those other directors like Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes), Eli Roth (Hostel, Hostel Part II) and Rob Zombie (The Devils Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) this is a film that should stay the same it should be treated with respect and also John Carpenter (Halloween, The Fog) Halloween is Scary even though it was made in 1978 who cares? this is a movie that can scare the hell out of us!

when this movie came out, i thought it would be like any other kind of slasher flick that would be even more frightening. but i was mistaken it showed a lot more mystery and suspence just like in the mid 1940s. thats when the real classic horror films came out in such a sophisicated style. its movies like halloween that made horror seem so more teen safe and very well watched. i have to say thank you john carpender for giving a real horrorific treat that is so scarry and so great to watch over again.

This is not the best horror film ever made, but it is the best slasher film ever brought to the big screen. Halloween doesnt scare anybody with blood or frighten anyone with gore, instead it is built on suspense and leaves the rest to the imagination. John Carpenter also does an excellent job composing the music score which builds that suspense and keeps the fans on the edge of their seats. Though the following sequels failed to keep the thrills alive, the original Halloween is still a fun for all treat every time October 31st rolls around the corner!!

Is Halloween a good film? Yes! Is Halloween a film thats so great youll go berserk over it? No! While the film is very well made, it is given too much credit. Yes, it is one of those films that started the slasher craze, but its rewatchability is low. Halloween is just an above-average horror flick. Its not scary, its not gory, and its by far not the best horror film made!

This was an awesome movie and showed that gore isnt needed in a good horror film and Halloween is a classic. I recomend you see this film if your 13 or older this movie brought other movies to life such as Friday the 13th, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Scream, and so on this movie does not need a remake because it would be a slap in the face to everyone who worked on the 1st Halloween and chances are it wont be good. Responsible Parents should not show children under 13 this movie because of Drug use, Nudity, and Strong Sexuality During the fall season they always play HALLOWEEN on tv so you could tape that version(which is edited) and show it to your child.

Aww, Halloween was the first scary movie I ever saw. I think I was 7 years old when I watched it with my dad. He told me it was PG, and being the young, ignorant child I was I believed him. It is such an awesome movie! This movie lead me to be the horror-flick-loving-chick I am today! This was definately a low-budget movie, but that didn't mean it couldn't be good! Michael was definately scary. His deep breathing made him seem half man, half monster. And in the end, he did end up sort of not being human, didn't he? This is a must-see if you love horror!

I saw halloween resurection at 12 o clock at night. It5 was pretty scary. It was about Mike Myers going around people first chocking them and them stabbing them. Pretty odd uh? At first Mike Myers starts killling people when he was just like 10 years old. He killed his sister or his brothers friend or sokmeone . e mostly killed people wich is reallly odd.Thhen toward the end, mike myers tried to kill his sister but he didnt know that was HIS SISTER.

Forget what the list says. This movie by far is the scariest movie ever made. If you take an audience that never seen either Pyscho or Halloween and had them watch both films, let's see how many screams per each film there are. Halloween like Pyscho has a believible storyline where both characters could really exist. It wasn't until after the first film where Michael gets shot about a hundred times and still lives that the character isn't plauseable anymore. But, the pure terror that is given off by this faceless killer relentlessly stalking his victim is chilling, that when you leave the theater and get in your car to go home, you have to check the back seat to make sure Michael isn't there. Now that's what I call scary!
