My mind raced with many of the cold and dark outcomes that could be possible. I was chilled at my own thoughts of horror and danger that could occur from fooling with what God had designed and his plan. I thought of a child with no soul and the frightening possibilities. and none of it even came close to my expectations. This could have been a great film, But it wasn't it spooked me a few times but overall it just plain stunk. The director is a fool.He shouldn't be allowed to make another film ever again Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful  Don't waist your time or moneyThe premise of the story is good. A couple looses their only son in an accident. They are unable to conceive more children and are approached by a doctor to clone their son. <br><br>There is absolutly no follow-through for that premise. Any suspensful moments that are set up are completely predictable. There are so many holes in the plot that the story makes no sense. And the ending leaves you hanging. There is no explanation as to how the "famous" scientist is able to complete his experiment in complete anonymity.<br><br>Robert Deniro seems embarassed or tired or indifferent to the movie. All of the actors have done better. They've had better material to work with before too. I can understand if they were just too underwhelmed to get excited about this one. They should have passed. It's totally worth spending $7.00 to go see it. The acting was good, and the plot was good. I can even count how many times i jumped out of my seat! It's a great movie, everybody should see it! It has plenty of spook factors and a creepy story line... so if that's the kind of movie you're up for seeing, then go ahead and see it. It's entertaining enough. If you're a huge movie critic and mostly agree with what the critics in the paper say, then you might not like it. But I liked it and I usually agree with the critics for the most part. There is three parts to the movie where you dont know whats going to happen and you end up jumping and laugh for the stupid mistake because its not scary at all. if it wasnt because you cant put negative stars i would put at least 10 negative stars in for this movie. I got from the trailer it would be creepy and edge of your seat.<br>I was disappointed. The movie itself is good playing on the phsycologial aspects of the situation but there doesn't seem to be any resolution for the viewer, which is normally okay for me. But this was yet another movie gearing up for a sequel that probably won't be made. <br>This is a good movie to rent or see on cable, but save your 9$. Was this review helpful? Sign In | ||
