Minow. They end up ship-wrecked on an isolated island. (Gilligan's Island.) The main character Gilligan, (played by Bob Denver) is the only crew member on the ship, the S.S. Minow. His captain Jonas Grumby, aka: The Skipper, (played by Alan Hale Jr.) acts as the leader of the group. The tourists along on the ship are Ginger Grant, (played by Tina Louise) who was a movie star before ending up on the island and is always trying to impress the others. Mary Ann Summers, (played by Dawn Wells) was a small time farmer in Kansas and is the cute pony-tailed girl. Roy Hinkley, aka: The Professor, (played by Russel Johnson) was obviously a professor and always listens in on their radio and helps them about. Thurston Howell the 3rd, (played by Jim Backus) always waltzes around with his fine suites and money. And finally, Mrs. Lovey Howell, (played by Natalie Schafer) is Thurston's wife who always demands high quality.
