And, I was totally right. At first I was totally lost, I thought it had no point. At the end I loved. And I saw many people that I know reflected in A. Largeman., even myself. Wonderful Soundtrack... The only reason that ignorant people think it has no story line is because there looking for the love story that everyone has seen already. This movie is touching, artistic, and my favorite move.
It isnt the typical story that you would see and can be watched over and over again. Every scene is good and people who think its boring im sorry to say you dont know good movies.
The only reason this movie should be called boring is if it is being watched by a action flick freak. And as for the person that said go see collateral , FIRSTLY why are you writing a review if you dont like good love stories and just want to see action movies. Really? i mean come on. I was forced to watch this movie one night, because I was told that it wouldve been a good change from all the horror movies I had been watching. Anyway, I thought it was the perfect movie for Zach Braff. He seriously brought Andrew Largeman to life. But honestly, I gave this movie three stars because I had mixed emotions when I watched it. I mean, I could understand the anger Large had in this movie, but I just couldnt understand anything else about it, or why it was such a big hit with my sister. But, if you ask me, the only way anyone could enjoy this movie is if they were high on acid or something. Hey everybody. Lets get high and watch Garden State Nah, dude. It is a different kind of love story , starring my 2 favorite lovers:). The music is amazing with every clip in the movie the music just rolls in and it goes along perfectly. I bought the soundtrack also. It is about zach braff who is confused and dosent really feel anything untill he meets natatalie portman (sam) . I love how they talk , its really surreal .. and how they met its just like how people say you can meet in weird places. Well anyways there about the cutest couple ever in the movie and really good together , you can tell there was chemistry . You must go rent it or buy it , best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in no way disappointed with this film. I can see how some may look at this film and deem it "slow" or "depressing," and that's fine, but I say to at least give it a full viewing. Don't stop halfway through because it's "not moving fast enough for you." If that's the way it has to be, then don't even try to watch any kind of film that has more to offer than "cool special effects." This film has a beautiful storyline and the actors are incomparable. This is real life at its finest; it's sad and cumbersome, then those feelings subside and we awaken from our dormancy to find that happiness awaits us, at least for some period of time. Whether or not we've found happiness, I think everyone can relate to that. This film definitely evokes emotion of all kinds. Natalie Portman really shines. As I would say with most films, go into this one with an open-mind and give it the full chance it deserves; if you don't like it, then stick to Jennifer Lopez or Vin Diesel movies. Rent it if you can't buy it. I loved in the movie theater and now I love it at home. I have had it 4 days and watched it 3 times. I really hope it gets a ton of oscars.
