The acting, the emotion, the real sense of the man, Richard M. Nixon, could not have been better portrayed. A must see movie, especially if you're old enough to remember "tricky Dick". On a scale of 1-to-10, I have to give this a 10. The two stars were excellent. They fleshed out their parts and portrayed the characters with dignity and with a "warts all"zest. You do not have to be a Republican or a Democrat to appreciate great acting and directing. Was this review helpful? He can say more without words than most actors can with them. And when he's speaking, it's completely the character - it's so rich and real you forget you're watching a "performance". Michael Sheen is wonderful as well. And this is probably the best job of directing Ron Howard's ever done. Not sentimental and manipulative, the film is direct, well-paced and riveting.
