Best In Show...ABSOLUTELY Hilarious. A Mighty Wind..funny. For Your Consideration - P.U.! I didnt even laugh out loud once during this movie. Where is the creativity shown in the other Guest Co. movies? I couldnt wait to see this one...wish I would have saved the 3.99 video rental fee as my husband refuses to go to the theatres for these films since A Mighty Wind. Terribly disappointed -- Mr. Guest, please try harder next time and regain the subltle (or perhaps not so subtle) wit from the first two! Was this review helpful? Its simply awful! There was nothing funny, bright or intelligent about this work. What a waste of 30 and an evening with my family. Best of Show was fun, but this is painfull. The cast should be ashamed of themselves for putting out such garbage and not knowing the difference. Film critic John Hartl must be reading and copying the press releases and never saw the flick. Five Stars? He should turn in his free passes, popcorn and right to comment on any film ever again. Save your time and money. Dont even bother renting a CD if it ever comes out. I managed 2 chuckles and that was all. It was very hard to watch and when it was over my wife looked at me and said is that it?. Parker Posey is my favorite actress and they didnt let her do what she does best, quick and witty banter. I cant believe how her talent was wasted. Of course, this movie is made all the worse for me because the last movie I saw was Borat, which i should have spent my money on to watch again instead of this stuff. No high fives for this one guys. The most exciting event of the whole show was when my PDA went off reminding me to get a haircut. It got 1 star because there are no negative stars. The theater started out with 12 of us and ended with 8. If I had seen the other 4 leave, my family and I would have followed suit. It was awful, please dont waste your money on this movie. Taking a stab at the movie and related awards industry much the same way This Is Spinal Tap targeted rock bands, Guest has nearly perfectly simulated the preposterous and obnoxious events surrounding independent filmmaking and actors influenced by the Oscar buzz.....

The movie may have been realistic to the actors and their style of life, but to ME and the surrounding of people in attendance, the majority felt it was boring and many left before the ending.
