I couldn't stop watching it, and I found it odd that I had never heard of it before. This is not only one of Kiefer Sutherlands most dramatic performances, and he not only shows his shock, disbelief, and horror brilliantly, he helps his character "Nelson", have a compasionate side. Julia Roberts at times becomes to weepy, but puts up a great fight against the bad writing. Kevin Bacon has yet another good performance, and by the end of the movie you deeply respect his motivation and his "no give up" attitude towards everything. Over all a good movie that I would recommend to someone that not only believes in medicine, but also in the limits to medicine. Because after all, "some lines shouldn't be crossed."
