In fact, Id rate it a little higher if it had been 20 minutes shorter. In my view this movie was quite well done. The pacing was good considering the genre, the characters were colorful and memorable, and the acting was surprisingly good. I remember seeing The Cooler and walking out after the movie wondering why Id never known Alex Baldwin could actually ACT. Although Vin Diesels performance wasnt as powerful, you just have to give him credit for evolving as an actor and taking this risk. It youre looking for fast paced entertainment this aint it. If you enjoy a well made movie with top notch acting and a few good laughs I think youll enjoy Find Me Guilty. Was this review helpful? Granted the movie was a little long, its still worth watching. I really found myself thinking he was really Jackie and not Vin. Hats off to the makeup artist since I didnt find Jackie sexy like I always find Vin. Ill buy the DVD for sure. Was this review helpful? Vin in my books is a very good actor, he could use a bit more work on the way he walksbut who am I to judge. Anyways Im not sure if what I viewed will be shown in Theaters but its definitely a movie that I would pay 7.50 for to watch in theater and add to my DVD set. Anyone who hates this movie has something wronghehehe. But still even if youre not a fan of vins work, just take 2 hours off and watch this funny and dramatic movie, you will not regret it. This movie made me feel like I was a juror. I found it to be slow and drug out. Most definitely not a movie I put much thought into after I left the theater (not thought provoking). Nor would I consider it very funny. Vin does a good job in the role, as does the head Defense lawyer. In general, the movie is a nice tribute to Jackie D. Was this review helpful? But Sindey Lumets skill at bringing out the juice in actors isnt enough to save the film from overkill. Anyways this movie will turn out great...come on its a vin diesel movie.
Everyone go a support this remarkable movie, when it comes out. Keeping fingers crossed....hopefully this moviefind me Guilty will be a Oscar contender for 2006-2007.
