Is it really a baseball movie? No. Its a fantasy that uses Americas Pasttime as the centerpiece of a love story of redemption and hope. Field of Dreams reminds us that anything is possible... even magic... if you have faith and if you believe. Robinsons story is beautiful, the acting is first rate... and the soundtrack is great, almost hypnotic at times. Five stars... only because Six stars was not an option. Was this review helpful?
