If Sean Penn, born in 1960 was going to play a teenager in 2002 he wouild be a 42 year old teenager. The truth is the movie was released in 1982 when he was a 22 year old teenager.
Please correct and put the Sean Penn (and others) movie into its proper sequence in the filmology.

Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Fast Times at Ridgemont HighPosted: 12/9/2003A review of Fast Times at Ridgemont High by laffsalotgurl made in 1982, a group of fresh young actors came together to make what many people consider the greatest 80's movie of all time. these actors include jennifer jason leigh, sean penn, judge reinhold, and phoebe cates. they play different people with different lives, but the movie shows the trouble the teens have with their lives. sean penn plays a surfer guy, jeff spicoli, who is stoned for pretty much the entire movie. judge reinhold plays the popular senior, brad hamilton, who has the perfect life, but runs into a few bumps, big ones! jennifer jason leigh plays stacey hamilton, a freshman who just wants sex, and gets herself in trouble. though their lives are filled with drama, they find their ways to make the best of it, with some really good lines that will make people laugh and laugh, and the movie is backed up with music from the early 80's. fast times at ridgemont high will always be a classic!! It really captures the spirit of what it felt like to be a teen in the early 80's period. The way they feel towards work, relationships, parents, everything. Pat Benatar lookalikes, Van Halen scalped tickets, the transam and more. And you get some great actors like Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Phoebe Cates just to name a few. A must see!
