Meg, the 16 year old who is obsessed with being liked, Chris the beefy 13 year old who wouldnt hurt a fly unless it landed on his hot dog, Stewie the 1 year old who is obsessed with taking over the world and Brian the talking dog whose jokes are as dry as the martinis he drinks. Family Guy is what youd get if you put Hank Hill, Homer Simpson and Erik Cartman into a highly powerful blender such as the magic bullet.<br> 5 stars A+++ Was this review helpful? It was the best animated show that there was out there. I did not miss it for the life of me. Stewie was the best one out of them I thought, but all together it made a really good show. Although still a fan of "The Simpsons," "Family Guy" is undoubtedly far more humorous than any other animated sitcom.<br><br>Bring it back, no matter what channel you put it on. Watch it at least once, for one show is all it takes to get you hooked. It was done a horrible injustice when it was cancelled, but now that it is beginning its glorious comeback, people everywhere are really starting to notice Family Guy.<br>Now, the DVD itself. There are 28 episodes on this 4-disc set, and they are all wonderful. The show has many hilarious moments, but also serious moments (though they don't last very long). Trust me. Easily, the funniest thing on TV, it so needs to be back on the air. Why it was cancelled I'll never understand. When I lived in residence at University we'd go out partying then come home and watch the family guy for a good laugh before we headed to bed. My husband and I watch it religiously on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" every night. Why it was ever cancelled I have no idea. The plotlines and characters are far more interesting and hilarious than that of the simpsons, which is in it's 15th season?! From Brian the talking, martini drinking dog to Stuie the adorable baby with a very dry sense of humor set on taking over the world, I laugh heartily at every episode. It's relation to real life has something everyone can relate to. I plan on buying the 1st and 2nd season DVD sets soon. I look forward to all new episodes if it makes a comeback, please, please!! Until then I will continue to watch the reruns over and over. I never tire of them. Was this review helpful?
