This says the truth with Bush saying it. Hello! Open your eyes people! It was proven fact he stole the votes. His brother admitted to it. And another review said worst actor...there was no actor....Anyways this movie was amazing and prove everything point blank. If you think this movie is stupid than obviously you dont have someone in iraq. And if we remember correctly we need asoma binladin which is in afaganistan sitting back watching us take the oil. Our men were ordered not to shoot him and let him go by. Now hm. Isnt he the target. You create your own opinion from there, but dont bring your opinion on George Bush as the reason you like or dislike the movie. Having my brother in war risking his life for what we believe we all deserve FREEDOM and here we are, betraying our own president. Have we forgotten what really happened on Sept. 11? How we wanted JUSTICE? I am proud of our president and so is my brother. If we all stand beside each other, well become stronger. Someone needs to make a movie of what the truth is and our true values. Movies like this is what keeps communists like Fidel Castro in power. People that believe in this movie are just cowards to me. Feeling as though you have no voice just because you have no Million dollar bank account is twice as frustrating. My hat is off to Michael Moore. For years Ive been watching this so-called president try to give speaches and on so many occasions, its scary, try to look intelligent. One of the most poinient parts of this movie, in my opinion, is when Michael was talking to members of the government asking if they had any children in the armed services. The people running this country, G Bush, being to ignorant to be a real part of that crowd, could care less about the poor people (Given the fact that the majority of the people who inlist in the army, and the army being the most utilized division of the armed forces in this complete farce of a war because the Vice Pres. and all those who are making money off this war wouldnt make nearly as much if the air force went in and just bombed the people who actually deserved it,are from poor families.) Hopefully in the next fake ellection we have people will be moved to vote for someone for real reasons instead of voting because their preacher tells them to vote for an advid liar. Separation of Church and State is a very good idea in a country as diverse in religion as we are. There are so many different ones, why should the beliefs of these people be forced upon the rest of us? Please remember the first people who came to America were trying to flee religious persicution. Christianity in all its glory is a wonderful idea, but the sad fact of the matter is that most people who try to bully other people into their way of thinking, just isnt a very christian thing to do. So give us a break, how about after 8 yrs of idiocy in the whitehouse, lets try having a real election in 08. Maybe this time the majority may have a chance at winning. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful obviousPosted: 9/27/2005A review of Fahrenheit 9/11 by roystoncat read some reviews but just wanted to comment on one portion of the film... the scene goes something like this...little kids flying kites and plying on swingsets, everybody is happy and gleeful in the promised land of baghdad. enter the big mean army. then a video montage of nothing but kids blowing up and moms wailing (geez, did we shoot any badguys?) then it shows clips of mean armymen saying what an adreline rush they get from war....more shots of civilian casualties.....then more of women crying and soldiers having a good time...this goes on and on in the most blatent display of propogandist bullshit i've ever seen. I rented the film (along with bowling) with a liberal buddy of mine...it took two nights of pausing, talking, and researching to get through them. I'm sorry people but if you couldn't get any of his points mentioned in a campaign add or presidential debate then I would seriously question this film. Unless your green day...'cos they're really...um, smart and stuff.

I watched this movie with a combination of shock and sorrow, aghast at what a horrible president we currently have in office. Moore's portrayal of his ideas is no different than what occurs on Fox News, and I know that everything he presents has been checked and verified by an extremely competent legal and research team. The only reason certain people (i.e. hateful conservatives) dislike this movie is because they are so set in their ideas and way of thinking that anything else is seen as a monstrousity and a lie. Bush is the worst thing that has happened to this country since well I guess Bush Sr. and I can't wait to see his sorry ass get thrown out of office. He is a murderer, a liar, a coward, a manipulator and a sorry excuse for a man and Moore has done a fine job of uncovering these things and more. How can you watch footage of innocent Iraqis being blown up with having your heart break? The conservative agenda and its distaste for american society is slowly ruining our society and we deserve much, much better. So as I said before in my title, all you republicans can shove it. Its either 1 or 5 stars for most people. This movie is very Bush-bashing, which was the whole point. I really don't like Bush, I personally think he's an arrogant prick. But for the people who gave this movie 5 five stars, you need to understand that this movie is one of the most biased ive ever seen. The current administration has done so many bad things for this country, and for many other countries as well. One of my favorite things to do is to ask a conservative why they think Bush is such a good president, and i just think to myself "That's bulls**t," "Oh yeah thats bulls**t too." I know that this movie has much disinformation, but just the fact that a movie like this was made, regardless of content, shows how almost half of the voters feel about this administration. And how horrible the president and his yes-men are. The point of this movie was obviously to make money, which it did (about $50 million) and to show everyone Michael Moores opinion. I appreciate what he did, its nice to have someone with the guts to make a movie like this. I didnt take much of it seriously, but it made me think. And it make a helluva lot more people think. But producing this film does not make Moore a traitor, and nor does it make anybody who watches it a traitor. A great deal of people have regarded Moore as a gay, liberal &*^*#, breeding hatred against feminists, gay supporters and liberals. Countless MALE TESTOSTERONE-MOBILES.
Even though a lot of scene in the movie are unreliable, two scenes really caught my interest. I commend Moore for the scene in which he confronts the congressmen, asking them to send their children to Iraq. I was stunned but not surprised to see the scene with the trooper singing (sort of) about the Iraqi civilians.
All in all, this was a very powerful film. I enjoyed it thoroughly, though the beginning was very confusing. It is definitely a film worth seeing more than once. This film inspired me as a liberal and I am sure it will do the opposites for many on the right. But I thank Moore for challenging Americans to open their eyes and learn the facts before voting. He will make millions off the sequel. There is nothing wrong that in a capitilist society. It is disappointing though, that Moore does not do a better job of informing the public in what he first called a "Fictional polictical satire; a comedey." Saying, "It was his fault if people took it seriously." After they did, he started calling it a documentary.
The problem with this is that so many of the facts are plain wrong. The content is based on one-sided sensationalism forged to generate pubicity for the end goal of selling tickets and DVDs. It worked. It also caused a political backlash that assured the re-election of George W. Bush and moved the entire country to the right. If Moore's sequel is as popular, it will guarantee even greater Republican wins in the 2008 election.
This is because people, including non-conservatives, don't like being lied to. That is what Moore does. (One has to wonder if he is a secret operative for the GOP?)
The follow up documentary to this movie at www.fahrenhype911.com puts it in perspective. Watch "Hype911" and you will understand why Moore's picture accomplished nothing more than making lots of money for himself and electing Republicans.
