Everyones Hero is a wonderful movie for the whole family. We took our grandchildren to see it and they loved it. It is nice to have a movie with a moral and be entertaining to all ages. Christopher and Dana Reeves had their dream fulfilled. It was worth seeing.

Myself and my son just got back home from watchig this movie, we had a great time, it was funny, light hearted and a great message for all, we loved the part were Lefty was on the train dodging the signs. It is very sad that this is the final work of both Christopher and Dana Reeves.

After reading the reviews posted, I felt compelled to write my own review. I have 3 children, ages 7,8, and 9. Im 34. My moms 59. We loved this movie. It was designed for entertainment value. The characters were great and the story taught a message that my 8 and 9 year old picked up on immediately. Never give up. My children laughed so hard at Lefty on top of the train dodging signs and posts. There were so many hilarious moments in this movie. If you are looking for a family friendly movie that requires you to just sit back and laugh, this ones for you.

We took our 7 year old son and his friend to see this movie and they loved it. They laughed, they cheered and they had fun and they werent the only ones. My husband and I laughed as well as other kids and adults in the theater. Granted this movie isnt going to solve the worlds problems or bring on world peace, but its a fun heart warming movie and the kids enjoyed it. Kids dont need to learn something from everything they read or see, let them be kids and have fun and I think this movie did just that.

Everyones Hero is just your typical outcast boy meets talking baseball childrens picture - until you realize this ones saturated with absurdity in just about every aspect and contains the most ridiculously illogical ending to ever disgrace a movie. But, whats that you say? Its just a kids movie? Well, were in a sad state of affairs if this nonsensical rubbish is the best we can entertain our kids with. During the course of the film I heard precious few bouts of laughter from the mostly child audience, and it seems that this movie might raise more puzzling questions than this years earlier fiasco Barnyard. I guess the only thing screwie about Everyones Hero isnt just the baseballs name.... A scrawny, insecure boy, growing up in the shadow of Yankee Stadium during the Depression worshipping Babe Ruth, learns self-esteem when he goes on an adventure with a talking baseball and the Bambinos beloved bat in Everyones Hero. (I think that the movie is animated, by the way, and not a Ken Burns documentary.) I give the best movies antique Rockwellian look is its greatest pleasure. Hokey? Yes. But its heart is in the right place. And it re-creates Depression-era America with surprisingly agreeable anachronistic panache, but a sassy ball and bat dont cut it as compelling cartoon characters, and the not-so-human humans never quite do either (Babe Ruth looks like Shrek).
