Of course, it came out in the year where there were a ton of bad movies. But, this movie is not even close to being bad. The only song in the movie was the song at the beginning of the movie, and I was in shock that it was Matt Damon to play that part. The song, alone, deserves five stars. But, it's the movie that counts, so the five star rating is for the song, and the movie. The funniest thing of all, to me, about this movie, is the guy who kept saying, This isnt where I parked my car, and that creepy guy they met on the train. And that line, alone, was what makes this movie an instant classic. If anyone hates this movie, they would have to be extremely serious to not like it. But yes, I am going to end this here, and watch another movie. Peace easy. Was this review helpful? If you want to see a film with lots of nudity ( NOTE: both male and female nudity ) watch this. If you are looking for a movie with story. Do not rent this. Portrayals of things are blown out of proportion big time. For example throughout this movie there is a little Green Fairy that appeared after they drank Absinthe. Absinthe is a haluccinagine but merely because of the & alcohol in it. Green Fairy was coined due to the green color of the drink when it is dilluted with water. Not because you see GREEN FAIRIES. It's rude, obnoxious and completely offensive to all Europeans - and that's what's so great about it! It knows it's bad taste, and goes with it. Some moments are downright nauseatingly funny (the idea of incestual making out) and others make you laugh so hard because of the absurdity (a little kid goosestepping around his home). From start to finish, "Eurotrip" is a no holds barred teen comedy that bases it comedy on being offensive and gross. Take it for what it is, and you should laugh pretty hard. Was this review helpful? Why wouldn't you want to see a guy go all the way to Europe for the love of his life? It's romantic, excpet the so-called "makeout session" that was gross. The story line wasn't all that original but with this type of movie thats not what makes it so good. It has a fast passed, free moving script that was laugh out loud funny. It was a nice change from the movies that were out at the time. My favorite part is when he gets locked up in the S&M lady's place and can't pronounce the word she gives him to say when he has had enough, funny stuff, you'll see. Hope you like it. The plot is retarded, the actors are horrific, but I'm sure the scenery is breathtaking. I could write a better script with Alphabet Soup. I could crap out something that has more penache and thought-provoking dialogue. I really enjoy inane, crude movies. However, this piece of drivel is just hideous. It is not funny, and it is along the same lines as Dude, Where's My Car? Two stupid movies, two big wastes of money.
