The answer seems to be a love story trapped in WW2. At least this one does not have too many speacial effects. Plenty of mud thoght.<br>good flick, will be a renting it tonight~

So it wasn't 100% historically accurate, it still fared better than it's US counterpart U-571. However it does give an accurate description of the enigma machine, Bletchey Park, and also some of the tension between the allies. Besides the story is twisty and you don't know who's the real culprit( who told the Germans that engima was readable) until the end. Wonderful acting from Kate Winset (who plays a very independent woman and even though she's not glamorous she's still attractive) and Jeremy Northam ( was there ever a more slimier secret agent). Oh yeah an understated score by John Barry, adds tension and romance at the right moments.

This was a very interesting movie to a history lover like me. There were some foggy parts that could have been explained a tad more carefully, but it was quite a wonderful movie.
