I am a 38 year old female and I loved this movie. I never set out to intentionally watch it but I just hapened to come across it on cable and watched it . I've now seen it about 6 times and I enjoy it and laughed as much as the first time I saw it. Amy Adams is perfectly cast as Giselle, totally believable as the comically innocent Giselle and her antics facial and otherwise had me in stitches. Wonderfully performed songs and dance sequences really brought back memories of the old Disneys musicals and animation. Wonderful computer GCI created effects animals (unlike the movies " I am Legend, and "American Werewolf in Paris to name 2 of the worst) Great supporting cast , wonderful songs , funny . What's not to love. The ending was not as great as the rest of the movie but 5 stars all the same. As another reviewer stated , I have not enjoyed a movie this much since Transformers.

I was worried about going to see this movie originally because I thought it would just be a silly, cutesy movie aimed entirely at six year old girls, like so many others that have been produced in recent years. Is it silly? Yes. Is it cutesy? Yes. Is it entirely for children? Absolutely not. I actually loved the movie and felt that the jokes that would innevitably go over children's heads made it accessible to adults. Now if I could only get "Happy Working Song" out of my head...

I loved this fairy tale twist it was thrilling and nice animations. This movie looks at the happy side of things even though she's stuck in a runt. Its funny and even though its not like the rest its still a classic Disney movie.

to the person who said you can't believe disney produced this, i agree. i think they're running out of ideas or something....especially with "wall-e" coming out, which looks like mix between E.T. and Starwars but alot more boring. anyways, it has an ironic ending, and, due to the fact that they didn't incorperate enough time into actually meeting the charecters, I didn't really understand prince edward. i can see how it would have been better if it had more songs and were a musical or something, but i guess not.

I cannot believe Disney produced this, it was poor at best. Mind you there were a few scenes that were comical and easily laughable, but for the most part, I sat on my seat wondering how much longer can some raving lunies run around NYC looking for each other? I am very disapointed at Disney for this movie. I feel the cast was also weak for a Disney production, not like the many others with blockbuster casts. I know every actor needs their break, but wow, I can't believe there was only one actor in the whole movie I've heard of. Disney, do yourself a favor, don't re-make, re-release, re-invent, or produce a sequal in any other matter for this movie. Thanks

This was better than I ever expected. The Central Park song and dance scene is one of the best scenes of 2007 in any movie. Disney Rocks, pure and simple. However, for me, the scenes toward the end with the dragon just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the movie. I know this is Disney, and I know it's fantasy, but the dragon scenes just didn't fit in for some reason. Wrong tone. Anyway, close to perfect, great for every age!

I took my 7yr old niece to see this movie and she said it was ok !! It started off really nice much like a Cinderalla type ~sweet and nice and just like your typical storybook fanasty starts off like. Then when it comes to the part where they enter the real world ~ well let's just say it takes on a rather phoney storyline. It stayed sweet but not in a real way - my niece even thought so and she is only 7 !! Kinda tells ya something uhn !! But the musical in the begining was wonderful and the best part of the whole movie. Really entertaining and got my attention !! But the rest of the movie well like I said was a bit boring and a little to fake. I think it could have been a little more real without going overboard in fanasty. My niece and I both agreed it was a cute movie but fake and long, but never the less its a girly movie all around ~ a boy would really be bored or might get scared to think this is what you have to do and go through to get a princess ??!!!

"Enchanted" is a spendid surprise! It is destined to be a new Disney classic - and will appeal to most everyone much like the movies "Splash" & "Pretty Woman". We couldn't have asked for more fun at the movies! It was brilliantly cast. Thank you to all the people that made it possible!

I saw the movie last night and it was better than I had anticipated. The movie was definitely a feel-good happily ever after kind of movie, but I get enough "real world" in the real world anyway. The movie is safe and entertaining for the whole family, non-political, and some parts had me laughing out loud. I liked the ending where all the good guys win also. I loved the blending in of the fairy tale world with the real world when she called in the animals to help with the cleaning, although the visual of the bugs cleaning the bathtub and the mice cleaning the dishes was a bit on the gross side. The singing could have gotten too cheesy, but the movie did a good job of cutting away to a new scene before it got tedious. Susan Sarandon did an excellent job of playing the witch, although I completely disagree with previous posts that say she is a witch in real life. She seems to be a kind and compassionate person from everything that I've seen, who is not afraid to stand up and say so when she sees injustice from what I've read.

“Enchanted” is enchanting! Out of a possible 5 stars it gets 10 stars in my book. If you are looking for a non-stop upbeat, irresistibly fun, utterly charming movie, “Enchanted” is your ticket. I can’t wait to see it again, and my wife and I will likely go again over the Christmas holiday. By the way, we have no kids with us - - this is entertainment that bubbles-over at all age levels. This eye-popping tribute to the classic Disney feature length cartoon movies, such as “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Bambi”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Fantasia” and others, perfectly captures the spirit of these earlier masterpieces; maybe it would be better to say it captures their soul. Enchanted so perfectly emulates the earlier standards of the older Disney features that you realize that there is a tremendous respect for the genre by the current producers. Though Enchanted is certainly poking fun at the charm, simplicity and innocence of the earlier times, it does so in a gentle, respectful and loving way. Most of Hollywood must be standing there with their collective mouths hanging open in disbelief at the success of “Enchanted” since it contains none of their formulaic ingredients for box-office success. Except for one: flat out unbridled, unadulterated, unapologetic, uplifting entertainment.

I'm a 43 year old single guy and I took my two nephews, 11,9. The animal scenes and the pacing of this movie are perfect. Just when it started to get sappy, bam, the action kicked back in. I loved this movie. Good jokes, great animation, the songs were Disney at it's best, the dancing scene in Central Park was unreal. Perfect. I can guarantee you, every guy walking out of that movie wanted giselle. Great flick.

I though this movie rock being 21 makes it sound like I'm a kid, but really I'm a disney kid. Ever since I saw The Little Mermaid I was hooked on Disney. I love the story and the music in it. I loved the song "Thats How You Know". I Think this movie is great for familys and for those who just want to be a Kid Agen...^_^
