Shes an ambitious- high-school student running for class president, much to the chagrin of her teacher, Jim McCallister whos had so much of Tracys goodie-goodie antics that he attempts to sabotage her campaign.
I thought the movie was great it was a comedy but i only laughed a couple times but the overall movie and story was great it was new , a high school girl running for class election who thought that would make a good movie. Just seeing Matthew Broderick switch roles with Ferris Bueller to the teacher 20 years later was a treat. But there were several other great characters in this film and the writing was excellent. It surprised me a little about how raunchy some of the language was-but that made it all the funnier to me. The scene at the end where he throws a large drink at Reese's limo is fuuuuny! Reese Witherspoon gives her best role ever as Tracy Flick, the overachieving student determined to win the school presidency at Carver High School. Matthew Broderick plays Jim McAllister, Carver's best teacher who is determined to stop Tracy's plans by getting football player Paul to run against her. McAllister's life begins to get worse and worse as the competition thickens. It's a very funny movie, just don't see this with your dad because there are a lot of sex scenes. Was this review helpful?
