This movie was just so different from anything else I have ever seen, Leave it to Tim Burton and Johnny Depp to make such a wonderful movie. They just work very well together. Great family maovie. Dont be fooled by the PG-13 rating, theres no swearing, just gets a little gorrey towards the end.The people who have rated this movie bad must not have a heart. Was this review helpful? It makes me cry 5 times when I was watching it. It also makes me laugh a lot! I had been reading comments about it befor watching and I was wondering if it is so touching. It REALLY IS! It is a tear jerker to me.Johnny Depp gives Edward heart and soul and makes him such a unforgetable character!!!
Although the ending is sad, but that might be the only choice for Edward. Edward is too pure to live in the real complex society. His innocence will be taken advantage by some people and he will eventually get hurt.So he has to go back to where he comes from. That is the message delivered from this movie from my perspective.
Anyway, I would definitely recommand everyone to watch this movie. If you embrace love and the beauty of human nature, I guarantee you will like Edwardscissorhands!!! Was this review helpful? Unfortunately the only thing I knew about this movie was the appearance of Edward, which gave me that perspective of what I thought the movie was about. However, when I watched it, I was completely wrong. It is a VERY touching film, and it has a good moral to it, that you should not judge people by how they look, if they're handicapped, if they are missing an eye, a hand, or if they are just different in general, because they could be the nicest person you ever met.
This is a must-see film, and if you havn't seen it, you should. I cry every time I see it. Was this review helpful? U should really see this movie, but he looks extremly creepy, at first i thought this was gonna be a nice little story about i boy with scissors instead of hands but it was much more than that. it was a classic drama and a very touching story. i recomend it for kids and adults, and don't be alarmed y his appearence, there is a lesson to be taught in this movie, a lesson that kids should learn.
