Date  Helpful Rating 1 out of 1 users found this helpful  Domino movie !@sComedy??? First of all this isnt a comedy. Okay its like a crime drama I guess you can say. THE PLOT !@S!!! Its about bounty hunters, and even thought that may seem exciting, and I thought it was going to be, well it wasnt. It was boring, confusing, and once again, THE PLOT !@ED! Keira Knightley is one of the bounty hunters. I heard there was nudity in this movie. Well, there is, but Keira doesnt even show anything, so its not worth the boring 2 hours or so.
Its one of the most boring, most stupid movies that Ive ever seen. Its over 2 hours long, and the most boring 2 hours. This movie, along with Oceans Eleven Oceans Twelve (yea I was stupid to give the second one a chance because I actually thought it would be better than the first), were the most boring movies Ive ever seen. I rented it, stopped the dvd player, turned the power off and got up and walked out of my own apartment. That just how bad it was!!!

Sign In 1 out of 2 users found this helpful  Good filmI got this movie on dvd the day it just came out, after I watched it I like it alot I thought it was well made, its an awsome film.Eventhough I feel bad that the real Domino Harvey Passed away in January of 2005. One of the problem of this film was cinetography has too much flashes and the elevator scene. Overal it was a well made fim. Was this review helpful? Umm...but the thing is, the beginning of the movie was really disjointed and confusing. Once they got into it though, I couldnt stop watching. But the ending was REALLY DRAWN OUT!! Overall it was a badass movie and I will buy the DVD. KK please keep those sexy scenes coming. You are beautiful. Big fan of Rourke and thought that he made the movie. Enjoy! Was this review helpful? After a very choppy start, after the titles roll the movie becomes mesmerizing. KK did a more than adequately convincing job as Domino. Lots of action and comedy. Good music. Very inventive. as i saw this film i was amazed...this film is what you call art.tony scotts very own little world.
as i entered the movie house i was very excited as i sneaked into the theater number 8 (which by the way is my first) to watch DOMINO.AS THE FILM STARTED I NEW I WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING I HAVENT SEEN FOR A LONG TIME.
ill just tell you this.after the film all i wanted to do was to punch someone in the face.i mean when i was walking out...i just couldnt forget it.cant forget the images on the film out of my head.it was just so good.from the picture to the acting to the directing...i loved it.
keira knieghtly is one bad assss chick.i thought she did an amazing job.and tony scott is outstanding...yes he isnt some ridley scott...he is his own department and that is TONY SCOTT.i give this 4 stars i just loved this film.

I was thoroughly riveted by Tony Scotts style of direction very raw and, yes, unpredictable. I never knew what was coming next and each new sequence captured and satisfied me with its unexpectedness. I wasnt shocked but intrigued. Hot, sexy, raw film. Must be seen on the big screen Was this review helpful? Besides the bad acting, bad directing (Tony, you are no Ridley), bad script and horrible music and photography, I loved this film. Please folks, dab some paint on your wall and watch it dry for 90 minutes before spending a red nickel on this film. It is a disjointed mess with every photographic trick that they could put together. If the killer in SAW wants to REALLY torture someone, all he needs to do is lock them in a room, tie them to a chair, prop open their eyelids with toothpicks and make them watch Domino Harvey over and over again. No one could survie it. Oh, and please, someone tell Keira Knightly to PLEASE keep her clothes ON. She is about as sexy and feminine as my 12 yr. old brother. Was this review helpful? But then it got better. So much better.
Once the film reached a natural pace it was funny, sexy, and involving. It had heart AND a lot of explosions. Plus the soundtrack kicked ass. Was this review helpful? Not as good as Man on Fire (both directed by Tony Scott), but filmed in a very similar fashion. The preview of the movie did it great justice in that, esentially if you thought the preview looked good you will probably think the movie looked good. So don't listen to these morons who say they had headaches after the movie was over just because it was filmed in a very artistic, grainy, dull blues and yellows format (again just like Man on Fire), because they should have seen that from the preview. Good movie there is no reason this movie should have only made 5.6 mill first week. Go see it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 5 out of 8 users found this helpful Domino TheoryIf less than one star were a rating option here, this load of crap would get it. Unfortunately, that is not an option. I was dragged to this movie by a relative who wanted to see it based on the asumption that it would be like Kill Bill, Swordfish, The Bourne Supremacy, or something original and engaging like that. Instead, this movie was worse than a low budget cable indy flim that tried so desperately to be "cool" and "hip" that it looked ridiculous in the attempt. Not only does this load of crap have every worn out and tired cliche of the good little girl gone "bad", but includes an extremely irritating ongoing narration from the main character played by Keira Knightley.
Furthermore the cinematography is replete with camera tricks: blurs, cuts, camera angle flips, and color embellishment that make it look more like a commerical for a soda pop or perfume than a serious, action packed, compelling movie. For all its hype and billing, this action movie too often stalls to reflect the inner thoughts and flashbacks of the "tortured" soul of the main character, who by now no one could care less about. This is one movie in which by the time it is over, I don't care who gets killed or what happens as long as it is over.
At the price movie tickets run for nowadays, save your money and dump this turkey like a hot rock. Not only is it not worthy of a ticket, any DVD made of this movie is a waste of industrial plastic. There are too many other much better movies out now in the same theme to spand your money on. This ain't one of them. Was this review helpful?
