Date  Helpful Rating 1 out of 1 users found this helpful  Good ChoreographyPosted: 7/2/2007A review of DOA: Dead or Alive by Moses6533 A video game adaptation, so the overall idea of a 'kumite' is nothing new, but considering the cheesiness of a bunch of hot chicks kickin' @$$, it has great choreography and cinemetography. So if you are in the market for babes and good fight sequences without the need of a great storyline then this could be the movie for you. Was this review helpful? I thought the choregraphy was okay but the dialog and overall plot was lost tothe terrible acting.
The ladies were really hot but that was it........martial art movies aren't what the use to be............Stop the comedy and give me a action movie please Was this review helpful? Some of the most unintelligent dialogue I have ever heard, really bad acting, and a story that is both uninteresting and unoriginal. Those not familiar with the video game franchise will feel lost as there are many plot holes. Great martial arts choreography and beautiful women is not enough to warrant an admission ticket. Well, I walked in with all the information I had heard lingering around the internet.
For example, Bad movie, Bad Acting, Bad dialouge.
And OMG, was I suprised, this is a fantastic popcorn movie! Its easily the best Ive seen in years!
Dont get me wrong, its not Shindlers List! But we dont want that for a fun, up-beat PG-13 Movie, it does what it says on the tin, amazing fight scenes, but as usual thats what we expect from Corey Yuen( Director )
If your, 10, 13, 23, or 45 - This movie has fun, laughter and fight scenes that will definitely hit your spot.
Plus, if your a adolensent teen, the girls are definitly going to have your eyes, STUCK to the cinema screen!
Enjoy the movie - I know I did! And I know YOU will!

The game doesnt even put its nice storyline together RIGHT and not to mention its just the girl fighters? Its a game of all pretty characters!! Next will be DOA Beach Valley Ball... that will be like Girls Gone Wild. Cant wait for this to come out....But if you like DOA that much then this is your cup of tea
