It uses the element of surprise, and is still touching and not too crass to enjoy. The dirty father is funny, and Norm MacDonald and his best buddy in the movie are excellent together. Also, there are great scenes with Don Rickles, Gary Coleman, and Chis Farley (who is constantly yelling and it is hilarious). I own this DVD (and practically no others) and reccomend this movie to anyone. Even my grandparents would think it was funny. It is definately worth the three bucks to rent. Was this review helpful?
