For the time the movie came out, it was just a great action movie from begining to end. The one awesome fact that I could never beleive about this movie is how Bruce goes all through New York without shoes, and yet, it seems like he was never even once phased about that. But, this movie really is a true classic. I am happy to say that I grew up with this movie. It came out when I was only a child, and now I am an adult, tells you how old I am. I was born in 1984, so there is your fun fact for today. I honestly thought that a lot of the sequels were what killed this movie, except for Live Free or Die Hard. But this movie is still awesome, no matter how you look at it. I loved the way Bruce tried to make this movie humorous all throughout the film, and yet, he ended this movie with a funny line. To explain the funny line, he goes through the entire movie without shoes on his feet. And at the end, he is asked if he needs anything, with his response being, Ya got any shoes? Trust me, this is a complete classic. But, I should probably be getting back to work now, so I must leave you now. Peace. Was this review helpful? I put down the pizza I was eating, (with extra gummy bears, because that's how I like it) and looked out the window. I didn't see anything, and about that time the phone rang. It rang "DIE HARD!" Scared to pick it up I ran out the room. I remember when I was young I watched the Die Hard Movie. Santa clause would come to town and read poetry. I can still see the look on Pee Wee Hermans face as I ran down the hall like I was on the Drew Carry show. I have a weird feeling like this has happen before. Getting stuck on top of a building with evil people shooting at me like I was Michael Jackson. <br> I wake up in a cold sweat. I look at the T.V. and notice that Finding Nemo wasn't on. It was a documentary on ice cubes. I changed the channel and Die Hard was on. I must say this is the first time that I watched the movie without my lawnmower. It felt weird at first, but I got used to it. As I watch the movie I thought to myself, why is the picture black and white? O-well I just keep watching. I moved to the back of the limo, because I eyes are kind of funny and I can't see things up close. That's when I saw it. It was about 5 foot tall, really slinder.. I was scared. With a mix of Action and Comedy, Bruce Willis break the box office with this story of High rise adventure. While out in L.A. visiting his wife, New York cop John Mcleane finds himself in the middle of a terriorist takeover. Armed with only his Berreta and wise-cracks, he sets out to free his wife and the other hostages from the terrorists. This is a great action movie for the guys. Was this review helpful? It is, without a doubt, the action movie other movies try to live up to. The plot was strong, with great acting and wonderful directing.
