Die Another Day was a reason why we had to say farewell to Pierce. This movie was so far fetched with the invisible car and ice palace. The beginning 20 minutes were like every bond movie should be but this movie got more boring and less interesting as the show went on. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  DIE ANOTHER DAY (2002)Posted: 6/21/2006A review of Die Another Day by Rockdude_91 Once again, Pierce Brosnan takes on the role of the suave Agent 007 for the fourth and final time and yet, something in DIE ANOTHER DAY is wrong - is it the formula or just the fact that theres C.G.I used in this? The film is by far very entertaining and the BOND Girls, stunts and action-sequences are still pleasing and so is Brosnans performance, but in the end, many of the 007 fans will feel as if something is missing and they wont be disappointed, but I hope that the next 007 adventure injects some new material or just simply leave out the C.G.I. DIE ANOTHER DAY earns 4 Out of 5 Stars and as usual, its a good entry and a big-bang for the 20th adventure! Was this review helpful? I mainly wanted to see this because of all the awesome James Bond 007 action packed sequences and Halle Berry kick butt like how she did as Storm in the hit blockbuster from the year 2000, X-Men. I loved it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomuch. I have watched it over and over again more than 10 times and i just cannot stop watching it. Please continue doing what you are doing and forget those ($@*ing bastards that are trying to underestimate your work and talent. Also i think the African British guy,COLIN, in the bond movies is also very good. I realise that he does not get many good reviews, as if no one has seen him, he deserves the best because he is very articulate in his speech and acting manner, a bit like Morgan Freeman. Talk to a stranger who looks like Halle Berry and be in bed with her in 15 minutes! Special effects like an old Godzilla movie from the 50s! Pierce Brosnan is my favorite Bond ever. Yes, the whole satellite thing was way unrealistic (my rocket scientist husband assures me of this!) but that's a good thing. Otherwise it would be way too frightening. I thought Halle Berry was a great Bond chick - it was nice to have one that could actually *somewhat* take care of herself (and didn't turn out to be evil!). She also seemed to be the only agent in the first half of the movie who actually did work! The beginning was a little odd - it feels so wrong to have Bond be tortured, have long hair and look like a bum, but it's a nice reminder than in spite of his seeming invulnerability, he's still supposed to be human. Plus, it's always great to see how he gets himself out of these crazy situations. (The laser fight scene was way unrealistic as well, but hey, it's just a movie!) I have never been so riveted or tense during a Bond film! Was this review helpful?
