There was not a hint of spin in a funny way whatsoever. What was maybe so-so-funny in the trailers was all there was. This is cheating on the part of Sony Pictures on me. Hugh Grant acted like a neverending parody of .... Hugh Grant!

You're intelligent enough to become a hugely successful realtor, yet stupid enough to use a phone while in witness protection?
Sam Elliott and Mary Steenburgen were almost believable until he konks the hit man with a horseshoe, then even he lost all credibility.
This movie would be considered a bad rent!!!!
Don't waste your time. It's 103 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Big disapointment in Hugh Grant choosing this role, as he has had some great movies. I rarely go to movies and as it costs $24.00 for three of us to go using a discount ticket this was a real bummer. Slow moving, poor story line, lame ending...could have been so much more, it was poorly done sad to say...

I 'd recommend if you want to laugh and enjoy hilarious situations... great form the beginning to the end. Sarah J Parker and Hugh Grant are a perfect combination !!! I loved the movie, it is a girl's movie that also shows the power of forgiveness, the importance of strong self-esteem and honesty in a couple's relationship. Sometimes you think everything is lost, go deep into an issue, even when it hurts. There is some drama, and the way it is presented in this movie is light, because of the circumstances (this is the best part:hilarious! ) I love Sarah and Hugh Grant together in New York. The previews I saw on TV all looked hilarious, so I couldn't wait. I must be honest, I was extremely disappointed. It saddens me to say that, because the 4 major stars in this movie are all so talented. This movie "drug on" alot, in my opinion ... in toooo many scenes! There were just a few scenes that very totally hilarious, but even though just a few ... they were super funny, I must admit. Was this review helpful?
