Bad acting, mindless plot and music by Jimmy Page!!!!!! so mindless it was hilarious!
Highlights include - Bronson as Paul Kersey!
Ed Lauter as the chief cop - whose line to Kersey "I hate creeps too but I can't do anything about it I'm a cop" and his violation of Kersey's constitutional rights and then proceeded to punch Kersey and Kersey giving him a kick in the groin was reminiscent of Burt Reynolds punching (with billy club) head prison guard Ed Lauter in the gut in "The Longest Yard".
Manny Fraker as the Chief Creep "see I always win"
The Giggler - "he laughs when he runs"
Martin Balsam (as Bennett) must of neeeded some spare money!
The term creeps throughout the movie to describe the scum - by Kersey, local people,Kersey's public defender girlfriend (who natch gets killed by the creeps), Lauter, and even the creeps themselves!!!!!!
and other classic quotes - "s**t man I'm hurt", "Gimme 5 dollars", they killed the giggler man"
