People are correct about a few things it is visually stunning to watch. It is subtitled. So if you can't read or you have issues being literate...this isn't going to be the movie for you. Now for some details.
This movie is excellent. It ties up some loose ends that came from Night Watch. Some new relationships are made but they are kind of confusing. I think maybe if you read the books it would all make a bit more sense ( i haven't read them yet so this is an assumption.) It's a good plot I think it has some excellent acting (esp. from Galina Tyunina.) I wish it had been intheaters here. So if you're thinking of renting this I would highly sugest that you do.

Night Watch was epic. The conflicts it set up and the characters it introduced were interesting, and structurally it made sense. Plus, it was visually stunning. Not the most original movie, but it bested several of the movies that it imitated (I'm looking at you, Matrices 2 and 3!).
Day Watch, not so much. The entire movie felt like a forced sequel; there were many set pieces and visual sight gags that just didn't move the plot forward. Many of the relationships between characters made no sense at all. The plot did not hang together. It really was a disjointed mess. The ending was a disappointment.
Stick with Night Watch. Skip this one, and we'll see what Dusk Watch has to offer. Was this review helpful? It doesn't follow the story from Day Watch all that much, but neither did the first movie Night Watch. If you read the books, you might not like the movies as much.
