THATS WHY THIS MOVIE IS ONLY A 4 STAR. IT COULDVE BEEN A 5 EXCEPT FOR THE LAST 15MINUTES. I SEEN IT IN THE THEATRE AND I RENTED IT BEILLIVE ME ITS A GOOD MOVIE IM JUST A STICKLER FOR DETAILS. one minute later he is with this group, that can see back in the past 3 days. and can leave and alter the present.
so the movie jumps back and forth from the past, present and futrure. if you dont follow this movie very, very, very close you will miss alot and it will leave you hanging.
The movie is very hard to follow, i felt like i was studying a video in college and there is a test at the end.
i couldnt watch this movie over again. dont buy it, dont rent it, wait for it to come on cable tv. just my opinion, more reviews comming. Was this review helpful? This movie has alot of twist and turns that will leave alot of questions that will keep you watching the movie trying to get the answers. The location was quite dramatic seeing New Orleans condition still unresolved, which this film had an unlining message. Denzel has played many rolls and he was perfect for this film. If you have experienced any kind of deja vu moment you will be intrigued by this movie. It made me wonder what was going to happen next and how everything happened. They complained for days that it was ridiculas. They kep bringing it up. Catherine asked Jane to see it so she could talk to her about it. They could not admit they liked it. Mad cause they did not see what was coming.

This movie is worth another look(if you dare?). The ending you come to expect is almost totally the opposite, and the way Tony Scott-meddled several movie-tv series concepts. I cant wait until the DVD comes out. Question is now does some of the items in this movie already exist or is this something in the future for this to come? Was this review helpful? And when they say its a waste of time i.e. DejaVu, we end up really liking it. We now base our decisions on whatever is the opposite of what is posted above. Deja Vu was really good. Wonderful performances from everyone especially Denzel, of course. At no point in the plot was I lost or confused. My brain did not hurt. You did have to pay attention and have several functioning brain cells so maybe thats what was missing for the reviewer. It was not mindless, in fact completely the oppisite. Everyone in this movie did an excellent job with what they had. The movie was usually exciting, though it did drag a bit too long in some scenes. Immensely suspensful, but I found that by the end of the movie, I didnt really care what happened to the characters. I realize that in movies such as this one character development is kind of lost in the shuffle, but I wish I could have cared a little bit more about what happened to the main characters. The premise of the movie is astounding and very difficult to pull off, and everyone seemed to have done the best they could. There are little twists and turns that will keep viewers interested, and the end of the movie answers most of the questions asked throughout the duration. It was definitely a far cry from some of the pure, un-adulterated crap that Hollywood has been warily calling films, but in retrospect, it could have been executed a little better. Too many people were confused by the end. If youre into scientific theories of the universe, youll better understand this movie. Was this review helpful? The plot was exceptional and the action was unbelievable.Denzel you are great. My 12 year old son and his friend actually applauded at the end of the movie, thats how good it is.
