Watching Larry David get into trouble is hilarious. I watched the show on DVD, I have all three seasons. It does get predictable after a while I will admit, but every show has at least one classic moment that you do expect. This is one of the few comedy series I have ever watched where every episode has me roaring with laughter. The best episode in my opinion is Crazy Eyes Killa. Was this review helpful? My personality is identical to Larry David's. The only difference is I am the female version of Larry David. I have never missed an episode. My four year old son will say " not Larry David again"! Larry David articulates what we all think and no detail is too small for him to ignore. The supporting cast and the guest stars work well with David and I enjoy seeing them in a no holds barred setting. Worth the price of an HBO subscription many times over. Enjoy! Larry is excellent as himself, going through a typical day in the real world. The actress who plays his wife, is perfect as the understanding, quite often mildly amused at the situations that Larry stumbles into.<br>I personally can relate to his frustrations and his reactions to sometimes perfectly mundane everyday experiences. It's fresh and consistently, entirely funny. True "Seinfeld" fans will appreciate the way the plots spin. You may find it hard to believe that this show is shot almost entirely unscripted, but you'll find the interaction between the actors completely believable. The casting is fantastic - each performer is excellent, with some actors playing themselves. I recommend this show to anyone who appreciates intelligent humor, the irony of real life, and honestly funny situational comedy WITHOUT a laugh track. Was this review helpful? I hope it will soon get the recognition it deserves. If you haven't watched it yet, you are missing the best television since Sienfeld. One day CYE may be as much of household title as Sienfeld. The characters are perfect together. I feel a connection with them that works great. Cheryl Hines, in my opinion, holds the whole show together. Larry sometimes goes a little over the top, but it still works. Larry's manager is a good sidekick and His wife is hilarious with her mouth. It is the first show since Sienfeld that I rush home to watch and tell everyone I know that they must watch this show. Was this review helpful? The compromises L.D. made in Seinfeld seem apparent when compared to C.Y.E. This show is the funniest thing on TV. The cast doesn't get in the way and are more like props for a comedy presentation by the funniest storyteller since Woody Allen. Great stuff.
