This movie is seriously stupid. I would say that if you want to find a disappointing movie, then pick this one. Because honestly, it was made to be like where it could scare the life out of you. But back to reality, the movie is a complete waste of money. Dont watch it. Please trust me. The only part that scared me was when the British kid had created their killer. But honestly, its more like Law Order meets Scream. Theres too much drama in it to be considered a scary movie. Want to know who the real killer is? Its Lindy Booth. If you dont know who that is, she was the girl in Dawn of The Dead and it was just her and another guy playing her dad. He gets bitten, and she does her best to save him when Ving Rhames went to kill him, before the virus got worse and he started to attack everyone. But hey, Im sick of complaining about this movie now. Later, losers.

Cry_wolf tells a story of teens in prep-school and they was a murder of a girl that spread real fast the the campus, so a group of friends send a e-mail to everyone on campus the killer will strike again. The wake up a name for the killer the wolf the give him something to were something easy that anyone can get. But when the e-amil starts coming true it all breaks loose. The movie was good. What i liked about it the most was that it was fresh and something new a new twist on a horror movie.

In this horror story a big lie told in fun has got deadly consequences. And there is lesson in this movie as well that nobody believes a liar - even when they are telling the truth. A mischievous group of students at an elite private school decide to have some fun by creating a town myth and seeing how far it will spread. When a woman is murdered not far from the schools campus, the students plan to create a complex mythology and decide to fright their classmates by dissemination online rumours that a serial killer called The Wolf is on the loose. However, when other people begin fading at the hands of the Wolf, the students are no longer able to decide where the lies end and the truth begins. As someone--or something--starts chasing themselves and the fun game turns frighteningly real. That is the time when they are forced by their conscious to confess to their lie. But will anyone trust them? And how does the real-life killer know so much about the back-story of the Wolf?

Actors could of been better. The plot made up for it though. This plot was so intelligent it kept you guessing until the end. I think the ending was fantastic. It contained a twist similar to that of THE VILLAGE.....I personally enjoyed the village so this movie was fantastic. if only the actors were better it would get 5stars

The movie was really interesting in the beginning...i liked the lying game and the characters and i thought it would lead to some really exciting climax. However, the ending was horrible and unexplained. Sure, it was better than house of wax, whose only appeal was two attractive men and a dead paris hilton, but the ending wasnt logical. The way they created Dodgers character didnt make her seem like the killer (she wasnt psycho enough). They should have ended it with the killing of bon jovi and julian morris getting rescued or something. However, since it was all a practical joke it took away all of the tension and horror. It was like a really bad episode of Punkd, without Ashton Kutcher...whom the movie would have been better off with. overrall...okay if you skip the ending.

Dont watch this movie! It is not worth it. The plot is ok, but the ending just kills it, like The Village. My friend and I wanted to see it because we thought it was really scary. It was untill we saw the ending.

If you're tired of the stupidity generated by the endless blood-guts-gore genre of Slasher movies, you will be relieved to know that Cry Wolf has a plot that is believable outside a comic book. Playing heavily on the "Can this really be happening-Am I seeing what I am Seeing" moments that cause the most frightening moments in real life, this film has the best plot exposition scenes of any film since The Usual Suspects. The cast is uniformly young and unpretentious. Lindy Booth, a young femme lead, recently graduated from the Dawn of the Dead school of horror, gives her role a centered poise that isn't in the script. Look for her to have a big, big career. Julian Morris as Owen, our hero, walkes a difficult tightrope between new age Holden Caufield and Teen Heart-throb. The fact that he succeeds without one "oh, come on now" moment, is a tribute to him. A blond Jon Bon Jovi, as the English teacher, despite the tweeds, looked a little too much like Glenn Cambell circa 1975 for me....

Don't listen tot he reviews that give this move a rating of less than mediocre. The movie was the most original slasher flick since Scream....and technically...Scream never really was the original to begin with. The story line does not steal from other movies, the ending has a double twist, and you never really know who to trust. I stayed very entertained and interested the whole movie. If House of Wax or Amityville Horror (the remakes) had even half the quality this movie did, they would actually be somewhat good. The cast is made up of many no-names but brings fresh new talent that is believable. The interaction between the characters is extremely real and I found myself laughing at the humorous parts more then I did at the summer smash hit Dukes of Hazzard (which kind of ^!@$ed if you asked me). The characters are all whitty and the one liners that make you laugh are well written, so much so that you could never tell they were scripted. This is a must see slasher flick to anyone who loves the genre, and a must see movie for others who want an original non-remade quality film. Final Judgement - Orignality isn't one of Hollywood's strong points rigth now, and if that upsets you...see this movie! Julian Morris leads a not-so-all-star cast into a film that was well made, excellently written, and superbly directed. 5 out of 5 stars!

I knew going into this movie that it was going to be your typical slasher film. But I really did enjoy the concept and idea of the internet killer and I was hoping that would put the movie into the same category as Scream, but it couldn't be farther from it. The movie was incredibly predictable, there was not one scary or surprising scene in the movie, and the stupid game they play in the movie called "Cry Wolf" makes the entire movie mudane an predictable. Now a days even if the slasher movies aren't scary they are atleast funny, this movie is neither and I should of known from the huge turnout of 4 people in the theater that this movie was going to be a total bust. Reccomendation, dont even rent it, wait for it to come to STARZ.

I thought this movie was really good, you might think you know the ending , but you dont , not till the end. The only sorry part of these reveiws that I can find (and read some of them) is that some people use them to voice there opinions against race, life styles and just plain hate!!!!! Thats really sorry!!!!!!!
