Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Chinatown Gang WarPosted: 11/22/2003A review of Chinatown Kid by Anonymous On Labor Day weeekend in 1977, there was a shooting at San Francisco's Golden Dragon Restaurant which began a war between the Wah Cheng and Joe Fong's Boys. Every weekend that month, the gangs took turns shooting each other. Some innocent bystanders were killed. I lived a block east and a block south of the Golden Dragon. The movie has its own version of the shooting. The reviews list Shao Yin-Yin in the cast, but it was actually Shirley Yu, who resembles Yin-Yin.
