She is very snobby and likes to show off and flaunt herself to everyone, especially to boys. She is extremely selfish, vain, narcissist, very self-centered, and wants the spotlight all to herself. She doesn't want other girls to get the attention and wants to overshadow them all. If another girl got the same attention she was getting from the townspeople in this movie, the repugnant LJ Bobbit would be jealous and would turn malicious. In reality, a person like the character LJ Bobbit would have narcissist personality disorder!
Parents, don't let your kids watch this shoddy sleazy flick! This movie has a horrible influence on both children and adults. There are many better choices to watch than a film filled with the character LJ Bobbit's vicious venom. In that asinine scene of the movie when the atrocious fiend LJ Bobbit arrived at the bus stop, the townspeople should have chased her away and sent her back to where she came from! People who like this movie are just very shallow and they just liked the way the arrogant actress looked in the film- (she isn't good-looking without makeup anyway)and she would have looked very different without makeup and regular modest clothes anyway! She wouldn't look the same without makeup, because she's naturally beautiful. And with or without makeup, in my view, she's not that good-looking. (I'm sure that people would be very shocked, very aghast, repulsed, and nauseous if they saw her without her makeup! The actress who plays LJ Bobbit is very shallow and has a two-bit personality and she always makes fun of people who don't fit her standards of beauty. And she isn't a beauty herself without her makeup.) And people shouldn't watch a movie just because they think the girl on the movie cover is pretty. I think that people who enjoyed this garbage movie just wanted a cheap thrill. I don't recommend this garbage for anyone. Was this review helpful? I look forward to this 13 year old growing into an adult actress. This movie was heartwarming and Lily Jane seems to change the town for the better. I am just amazed at the beauty and maturity of this 13 year old young lady. She was just a stand out in this movie. Was this review helpful? The children are believeable (for the most part-Lily pushes it a bit). The story is a learning lesson on growing up, hope, and overcoming the "evil" so that the good can prevail. The music is excellent and I HAVE TO DREAM one of the prettiest songs that I have ever heard. The 1940's music brings baack memories. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-4 of 4 Per Page | ||
