What happen to the music? Where was the boy with the home chasing the pig? When did Wilbur learn to talk? Why two geese? This movie should have be called something else. This is not the Charlottes Web that I remember. I really did not like this moive.

my daughter loved the movie and was mesmerized from beginning to end. The movie stayed true to the animated version, which has been watched for generations in my family. It was a joy to share this with my daughter as my mom shared it with me. A very up to date version with todays humor. I thought Steve Busemi did the best job of all filling the very BIG shoes of Paul Lynde as Templeton. A movie that is sweet, charming and for both the young and old at heart kids to share together, which is so hard to find these days. No wonder so many of todays stars joined the cast. Dakota Fanning is the perfect choice for Fern.

Charlottes Web was a beautiful movie. Dakota Fanning is a lovely little girl and we could use more like her in movies. Maybe Im oldfashioned but its nice to see a movie that has no violence or foul language. I would like to see more childrens clasiics on the movie screen.

I just returned from taking my daughters to this film, and it truly was magic. Yes, some of the characters from the book are missing, but this is a screen version and sometimes a literary adaption is nescessary. Dakota Fanning is a talented actor - she brings you into her dreams and makes you hope for the best in each movie she makes. I loved how the sweet naivety of Wilbur brought all of the farm animals around to seeing Charlotte in a new light - something every human could stand to stop and learn how to do. I would highly recommend this film - we liked it so much my daughters were asking if we could see it again before the credits had started rolling!

Im not a movie buff, but every now and then I go to see a movie that I feel would be good for the soul and leave me feeling good. CHARLOTTES WEB such a movie. Its about something everyome needs more of today and that would be love of one another and the feeling it gives you after you give it, and this movie gives that to you. Wonderful job ,well done and certainly the great choice of charaters.

When I first heard that they were remaking Charlottes Web I knew I just had to see it! I was impressed by the ability those that were involved had to portray Charlotte and Wilburs relationship (which doesnt help the giant lump that will come to your throat when she departs). Although the movie did fly by (and I wish they could have afforded more time), I feel they did their best with the time they had. The moral of this wonderful story was still preserved. By the way, chibbyfry, Im sorry, but you may be rating the wrong movie. I saw nothing immoral about this movie. Im afraid babe made no appearance and thankfully there was no referance to drugs or gangs. Finally, I hate to spoil the ending, but WILBUR does not die. I encourage everyone who has an inner child or children to go and see this movie.

i didnt think all the gang references were appropriate especially with that scene where babe was snorting cocaine. If you have children do not take them to see this movie it has lots of nudity too. dont take your kids to see this movie just make them watch the cartoon again because at least in the cartoon Dakota Fanning doesnt kill babe and eat him. I think that scene was too violent for young audiences. It was like straight out of apocalypto.

Its cute but..... Jeffery effrey effrey is not in the movie my daughter was disappointed. I want to know where is Henry Fussy. Its moves so sometimes. I would see it again but I grew up with the Hanna-Barbera cartoon of Charlottes Web and its wonderful. . I still love and always will love the Hanna-Barbera cartoon of Charlottes Web if you have not seen it please rent it. Its wonderful.

Worth seeing but I cant help but feel it could have been better. Im a purist by heart so I like the original movie better...without the body function noises. I had trouble understanding what the animals were saying...they were talking too fast. Watching Charlotte weave her web once was enough...that time could have been spent with more storyline instead. It was good and Im glad I saw it. It just wasnt great.

I Dont Like Spiders! The movie was computer animation genious (Babe 3) I like all the charactor actors, and it was a great adaptation of the book. There are some really funny parts and it had the essental elements of a classic... Be ready for spiders!

Gary Winick would seem an unlikely choice to direct a live-action, computer-animated adaptation of Charlottes Web, with an A-list cast providing the voices of the classic childrens books talking animals. (Julia Roberts as Charlotte! With Oprah Winfrey as Gussy the goose! And Robert Redford as Ike the horse!) Winick co-founded the production company Indigent, known for stripped-down movies shot on digital video like Chelsea Walls, Pieces of April and Winicks own Tadpole, in which a 15-year-old boy falls in love with his stepmom. But he also directed 13 Going on 30, the charming Jennifer Garner comedy that struck just the right balance of childlike enthusiasm and grown-up insight. Charlottes Web is worth seeing on its own merits (even if you dont have the excuse of a child to bring along with you) simply because it is so enduring after more than 50 years.
