She scores a 100 super hero mark. From the beginning, theres a working girl, not very good looking. Until you see that very sexy lady in the costume. She goes around town knocking out and killing bad guys! And, she hasent been this good till Die Another Day. Was this review helpful? As for her character, particularly Catwoman, Halle did an outstanding job. She moved and behaved just like a cat and was definitely believable. I not only paid my monies to see it on big screen, I also added the DVD to my home collection of movies. If a sequel came along, yes, I would pay to see it. And no, I am not one of those crazed fans that like the movie just because I like the actor or actress, I actually critique their performance too. The special effects, the story line and acting were terrific! I learned from my DVD (yes, I bought it the day it was released) that Halle did all (or almost all) of her stunts - WOW! I can't say I can do what she did. The fighting was very realistic (unlike Charlie's Angels 2). The critics are stupid as always. The movies they say are great stink and the ones they hate are great. Don't listen to the naysayers Halle - You Rock!!! The movie is one of the best I have seen in the past five years!! Was this review helpful? Don't get me wrong I love Hallie Berry but she really played herself for this one. To the people giving this movie good reviews think about this. Why did Hallie apologize herself for even making this movie.
I really fill like Blockbuster should give refunds for movies like this. The fight scenes seemed all the same and characters that had no prupose talked to much. There are so many flaws it gave me a headache watching it. Hallie can play a superhero she did it with Storm in X-Men. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever let your agent talk you into a movie role like this again.

I love Hally Berry in the movie cause i feel she is a great actress and everything. I always enjoy watching her act in all the movies.
I am sure if this movie didnt do so well, that her next movie will be even more better than this one. She is a wonderful actress and I will always watch her movies no matter what.

Now don't get me wrong, Halle is a most beautiful woman and looks great in leather, but that's where the good review stops. It was just plain stupid. They should have called it SpiderWoman.
She could have done so much better with a better storyline. The filming was almost nauseating at times, the way it jumped around so much. And okay one second she gets on a motorcycle she rips off without a helmet, then a nauseating scene as she speeds around town with a helmet on, and then she parks the bike and abracadabra the helmet is gone again. And she didn't mess one hair on her head!
Thankfully she saved the world from makeup that is bad for your skin - slighly worse results then acne. This makeup turned Sharon Stone's skin into "living marble." Wowww!!! Spackle it on babe!
This movie was awful. It even made Halle Barry look silly, and that's hard to do. Go back to the good movies Halle. You are soooo much better than this. And the real scary part is, they seemed to have left an open cliffhanger that there could be a sequel. Hide the catnip and pray not! Was this review helpful? Period.Posted: 9/26/2004A review of Catwoman by SoppiestDragon Don't know why the critics said it was bad. Glad I saw it cuz it was fun and entertaining! No one is talking about Oscars here anyway and so why all the expectations about high standards of acting. I am not saying acting is bad in this movie. In fact it was fine. Overall the whole movie was well made and even though dangerous cosmetics may not be the most critical problem in some people's mind or on the top of the list for other superheroes, the plot was still good in the sense that this modern catwoman has just begun her journey. Back to the harsh reviews, I am not so sure how good the acting was or how much better the plot was in any of the other big blockbuster movies this summer. This was never meant to be an Oscars contender and so stop hiding behind the big comments and tell us what the real agenda is underneath all the bad reviews. Was this review helpful? It's everything I hoped it wld be! Halle Berry is hot!! It's no wonder she won the Oscar. If you're looking for fun entertainment, check this out!
