If they have no sense of humor they will likely say this movie *($@ed. It has everything so I don't know what more they could want. Romance, an underdog, a villain, dooty. Come on! Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful A classic film with great comedic talentPosted: 7/29/2003A review of Caddyshack by ForMeandU2Love Caddyshack is a classic film that combines the comedic talents of older classic comedic talents, such as, Rodney Dangerfield and Bill Murray with the unknown fresh comedic talents of younger comics, such as Hamilton Mitchell as the obnoxious character of motormouth. The movies writing and delivery of the lines is right on que to deliver true comedy and entertainment value, which is a lost art form in todays time of reality shows and forced slap stic comedy. I am glad to see the release of the anniversary addition of the home video and I would suggest that any student screenwriter watch Caddyshack, to learn true art form. Was this review helpful? Everyone alive should see this movie before they die. Rodney Dangerfield brings his trademark one-liners and Bill Murray adds some hilarious sub-plot as the idiot groundskeeper. The ";one liners"; are a constant reference to things that happen in your life all the time and help to ";lighten Up"; the sometimes too ";serious"; outlook we have on our lives. And also helps to take a shot at the ";upsurbness"; of real life ";snobishness";. One of my ";pet"; peeves in life. I must of told my daughter a 100 times "; you";ll get nothing and like it"; when she gets greedy. Although there is barely a plot, it overflows with knee-slapping laughs mostly due to gross-out humor. Guys will appreciate this movie more than chiks. Today's youth would really enjoy this film.
