Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  i cried like a baby and still do...Posted: 3/7/2007A review of Buffy the Vampire Slayer [TV Series] by EthicalTiara soooo buffys been over for a good four or so years now and im still not over it! there are so many episodes that i cried like a baby for and still do. it was the most exciting and well written show i have ever seen and will ever see. the characters each gave so much to the show that watching tv is not the same without it. i have been there since the beginning, and there i will remain... i miss it... Sadly, it isnt on anymore. tear I must buy all the DVDs...anyways, my friends think im wierd but its an amazing show. It incorporates real life with fiction. Buffy is a typical teenage girl with typical teenage problems, she just happens to be a vampire slayer as well. I like that theres real-life problems on the show, not just vampire-related problems. Buffy is an awesome character! I lovee Spike. The show is nothingg without him. Anyways, grreat show! Love itt! Was this review helpful? The reason why is it's an action| romance| drama|horror|thriller|comedy, there is even a musical episode! Plus it has the greatest actors ever! The handsome and brooding Angel (played by david borneaz) is so unbelivably hot. There is also the gorgeous Riley Finn (played by Marc Blucas) who if there were like clones of him in the actual army they would have to probably have to be an army wating list. It also has on of the prettiest actresses as the main character in the show(Sarah Michelle Gellar). I am really into this show wish suprised me because I was expecting some b-list show with cheap specail effect but boy was I wrong. This is a great show for teens who aren't into hard core gore but still like horror. I give this a 2 thumbs up! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Good StuffPosted: 9/3/2005A review of Buffy the Vampire Slayer [TV Series] by Duraiken I was introduced to this series because of the film, which I had considered one of my 'top favorite monster movies' back in the day. Feh. When I first started watching it, I had no idea that Joss Whedon did the series essentially because the people who made the movie screwed with his script so bad. I still consider it good for nostalgia even if, these days at least, I have to agree with Whedon. Still, in a way it's a good thing they did that, or we might never have gotten this wonderful work of art.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer absolutely takes home my nomination for 'Best TV Series Of All Time Aimed At Teens.' The first three seasons were incredible, but then starting with the fouth season, things really bombed. The addition of Dawn to the fifth season, while initially confusing for me, brought things back up (IMO at least.) Season six saw a rapid fall in the use of inventive demon-monster of the week-episode costumes, but the sheer campy-geeky fun of Warren, Andrew, and Jonathan was awesome, though I certainly didn't see coming what Warren did in response to their repeated failures. But then things bombed again with the seventh season. Ah well. At least I have 1-3 on DVD, though I still want all of 'em.
But I do have a request - Anyone know if Joss ever made any Faith Backstory comics or anything? Anything to get my Buffy fix sated again... Was this review helpful? There down to earth adventure storys that you can follow and flow along with the cast of Actors and Ladies. You flow with their emotions and expressions. Their stories are no more then adventure fantisia adventure. As far as it goes I love their shows Buffy and Angel and will only say that you don't enjoy them if you can't enjoy Adventures and Execitement. Along with Mystery. I LOVE the show. The monsters are all awsome but nothing is to hard for Buffy to beat. What also draws me to the show is a kick-butt girl hero. You don't see many shows with a girl hero.It really disappointed me when I found out that Buffy was over, for good. My question is, Why? I know Sunnydale is gone but the gang can kick butt somewhere else. Overall it's a GREAT show, and it needs to come back. Was this review helpful? It has the hottest stars, and with a cast that can actually act. It has a great director (Joss Whedon) that comes up with the most amazing and shocking things. The specail effects and stunts are great they hit everything perfect everytime.
