Good flow good chemistry and a quick (however @ times too far between) pace make this a good ";fun"; movie. My daughter was sitting on the opposite end of the theater and she said she could hear me laughing. Haven't had a good full blown laugh in a long time. Queen Latifah put on a great performance as did Steve Martin. Everyone in the theater was cracking up. Loved it completely..... Was this review helpful? The movie was fabulous and to give the report card grade for this movie a 'C' is so slow and dumb. It was an enjoyment of laughter for all ages. Queen Latifah is lovable and amusing. Betty White, the veteran actress, adds unexpected comedic pleasure along with the performances of Eugene Levy and Joan Plowright. Ms. Plowright stole the show during the dinner table scene. I found myself laughing uncontrollably.Don't look for a cerebral exercise, but for a carefree, enjoyable time filled with laughter, this is the movie to see.I was pleased so see the theater filled with both young and old, hip-hop and conservatives, crossing all cultural lines.
