For every dream there is a memory , for every memory there is a quest , for every quest there is a begining and with every begining there is an end... god!! 5 times i have seen this movie and i never want it to end. As a man if i would be rich i would give a blank cheq to mellgibson.. this movie is one i have grown up with and truely i have cried every time i have seen this movie.I think this movie should have won all the oscars . god gracious , this movie has crossed the limits of human perfiction. It shows that whenu put your heart into some thing , this is what it come out like. IT has set standards that beyond comparison. i can bow down to mell gibson and james honour for such a wonderful creation. its truely a collective effort that has made it so big . jesus christ as an indian i can give away my land my wealth for this creation ...

Yes, when the words are not enough you should be in the silence. Therefore I am not going to criticise this movie because we are not capable for it. As a man I am proud to say that I cried every time I watched this movie. And I have seen this movie 76 times in the cinemas ( might be world record) Many people are going to think that I am crazy, but who cares? Every time I watch it as if I was watching it for the first time. I found so many things from myself, my country and my people. I am able to quote every single word and sentence those has been said in this movie. I dont think I have ever loved something this much in my life. I dont really know what was so significant about this movie because it was just like a drug which I was not able to give up. Remembering that the first time I watched it I was only 17 and the last time I watched at the cinema then I was 21. ( this movie was screened in a cinema continously for 342 weeks in Turkey, Ankara) I grew up with this movie. And now in the year of 2005, when I look back I still believe this movie is simply the best, and I also believe there will be no other movie which will be able to reach it. It is really pitty that Mel Gibson still acting and directoring. He should have retired 10 years ago. Because either him or somebody else will not be able to do anything better. I can talk about this movie hours, days, weeks, months and years. But I want to say my last word to academy. This movie has won only 5 oscars. I have never seen anything this unfair. I was really heartbroken. It should have won all the oscars without any doubt. Yes I mean all the oscars. Braveheart was the best, still it is and will be the best until eternity.

This movie is full of passion, courage, self sacrifice, passion, bravery, true love and patriotism. The movie was paralled to Shakespeare’s quote " A coward will die many times before his death, but the valiant only die but once" True Bravery, True Passion..........True Story All hail William Wallace of Scotland he was a great man. May his sacrifices never go into oblivion

this movie is epic, brilliant, one of the greatest movies i have ever seen. excellent acting, and sophie marceau is absolutely beautiful, i'll have to look her up and see what other movies she's in. the only criticism i have is that william wallace (mel gibson) says "there is strength in you, i see it" or something to that effect about 5 times. this movie is a MUST SEE

I just saw this movie on video and although I had seen it on the big screen, it took a second look to truly appreciate the wonder and scope of this awesome film. If you have seen it already like most of us, see it again. If you have not seen it get it now! It is a celebration of the human spirit, and a classic film. As William Wallace said, "It's not how you die that's important, but how you live!" So true and you have not lived until you have seen and fully appreciated Mel Gibsons film. It's almost as good as "The Passion of Christ." Thank you Mel, I learned so much from your great movies over the years.

Best movie I have ever seen, loved the music, and it clearly represented the courage and heart of Scottish people. The dramatic execution of William Wallace was done brilliantly. The soundtrack is one of the best ever done for a movie. Thanks Mel

This movie is beautiful. The music is beautiful. The story is beautiful. The actors are beautiful. William Wallace's heartwrenching cry of "Freedom" should bring at least a lump to the throat of even the most hardened viewers, if not outright tears. Full of lovely music and heartstring-tugging story, this movie is the ultimate. It has something for everyone: courtly intrigue, the romance of a embittered Scottish patriot and an unloved French princess, bloody fighting, and the inner struggle of the noble Robert the Bruce. One of the only flaws I can remember is the rose on the man's cloak at the execution: it was the Tudor rose, and this was many years before the Tudor dynasty. Of course, the major flaw was the romance between Wallace and Isabella, the princess was only 13 at the time of his death and still in France. Mel Gibson is a superb actor. His eyes convey every emotion perfectly, his Scottish accent is believable, and he never misses a beat. Watch this movie!

If only I could give this movie six stars. There is so much thats great about this movie that you truly have to see it to believe it. For the guys there are bloody violent battle scenes and for the ladies an epic love story between William and Murron. I never grow tired of watching this one.
