THIS MOVIE WAS THE FUNNIEST THING IVE SEEN IN AWHILE I THINK I LAUGH BECAUSE IM PISSED I DIDNT GET MY MONEY BACK.

A young man cant get over horrific experiences he remembers from his childhood, so he returns to the house he grew up in to face his fears and discover whether they are real or imagined.
I had a hard time watching Boogeyman not only because it mad no sense but I couldnt grasp what movie was asking from its audience.
After the movie was over I said it had a good story but the way that they played it out was no good.
I really think that they could make something out of this movie because Sam Raimi produced it. He has directed great film like Spider-man witch was on my best movie of 2004list, and had produced movies such as the grudge witch was my favorite movie of 2004. And then he helps create this junk. I thought that Sam Raimi could pull this movie together.
Barry Watson plays Tim Jensen who during the film he as psychotic break downs and I saw no point in that, it was confusing.
Barry Watson is known for his role as Mat Camden on TVs 7th Heaven, he was a good actor on the show, but now I thought that the acting was just as bad as the movie.
This is a horror movie and I thought that a horror movie is supposed to be scary, this was the farthest thing from scary.
On the front cover of the moves box Phil Bostwright writes and I quote ( This is the scariest movie - ever). When I read that I said did he watch the same movie I did. I know that something can be scary to some people and other things are not. But this was clearly not scary.
Sometimes movies are bad but the endings bring the movie together and the ending in Boogeyman just made the movie worst.
This film is only 89 min and 89 min to long.
Save yourself from boogeyman
Boogeyman was on of the worst movie I have ever seen.
Boogeyman was a disaster waiting to happen.

I didnt want to be alone in a cold, dark room after watching it. This movie was great, I loved it. The only thing that I dont like is all the losers that said this movie was crap. And honestly, this movie was way better than Darkness Falls. But hey, Im through now. But before I end this, do everyone else a favor and just stay awake during this movie. Was this review helpful? Ive seen crap in my life, but this movie definitely takes the cake. If you want to see it, watch it on television. Dont bother wasting your money by buying the DVD--or by renting it for that matter.
Whats wrong with this movie? Let me count to five....
1. The true stamp of a terrible horror movie is one that aspires to be more frightening than it actually is. Boogeyman is such a movie. Unfortunately for it, the scares are predictable and cheap. They consist of one-second bouts of cinematic schizophrenia that leave us with a short, jump-in-your-seat moment, but not the lasting fright that is the mark of a great movie. Every time the movie tries to build suspense, the final fright either falls short or never happens.
2. Yes, there is a plot... but its a bad one.
3. The acting is abysmal, even for a horror flick.
4. The ending was the rotten icing on a spoiled cake.
5. The deepest questions this movie raised for me were What the heck is going on? and When will this movie be over?
In short, this is an absolutely horrible movie. If you can, avoid it. If you want to watch it anyway, prepare yourself for an hour and a half of wasted life. Was this review helpful? At the beginning it was really good and it seemed they were setting you up for a big twist, or a major ending, which did not happen! The ending totally made you leave the theater questioning what you just saw, and what exactly happened. The ending ruined the entire movie for me and my other 5 friends that saw it with me. How many horror films are really scary? Not many. But Boogeyman is one of them. The plot is not the best. You need a little imagination. But I assure you that you are gonna jump a few times.
