The characters interact so well together and make it seem so real. I love the way Brennan is so clueless about the world outside the lab. It makes for good one liners. The show is a perfect blend of action, mystery, comedy, and chemistry. Its absolutely awesome. Was this review helpful? I think the characters have more depth than on the average TV show and the story lines are very good. I look forward to watching this show. I agree that it seems that the critic did not watch enough episodes before reviewing this show. It keeps getting better the more one watches it. It did take me a few episodes to get used to her being in Washington DC and not in Canada and not having a daughter or ex-husband, but I have and I do really enjoy watching the characters develop. The Christmas episode gave a lot of insight to most of the main characters and I think the chemistry is good. I am very dissapointed when the show is not aired. I hope it is not cancelled. The characters developed very nicely during the 1st season. The banter and developing friendship (and maybe more) between Booth and Brennan is totally engrossing. The crime stories are twisted and often very sweet at the same time. Great writing and acting make for one fantastic show. Was this review helpful? The pairing of David Boreanez and Emily Deschanel is amusing and seemless. They play off each other very well. Also, theres more to the show that just the weekly episodes You also get the back stories that help develop the characters and make them likeable. He says that Zack is a conspiracy nut who deals with bugs. He is wrong, Hodgins is a conspiracy nut who deals with bugs. Zack is Temps grad student who is taking way too long to write his dissertation and, while young, knows almost everything. And Angela is not brash and profane she is misunderstood, in the first episode her character is very different from the character she is now. She was confused and slightly depressed about what she does making death masks. Dr. Goodman assured her she gives life, You discern humanity in the wreck of a human body. I think that Hal should have watched more than one episode before trying to summarize an entire season into one paragraph. Msn Movies perhaps you should consider a change of staff.
