Its like a bunch of guys trying to be all tough and macho. Some of the lines are poor and the bad language is unneccessary. Ben Affleck is unable to pull off his role effectively, and dosent inspire me at all. At most this film should get an average rating. Was this review helpful? So he goes off and gets a job as a stockbroker. Although his father is pleased, and notices his son's improvement, Seth(college dropout)get's ^!@$ed into the world of having fun with fellow brokers. With support from his girlfriend,Abbie(played by Nia Long), and his new close friend Chris(played by Vin Diesel). Seth finds out that he's selling stocks that don't exsist, and has to ask for the help from his father, and from Chris to bring down his boss, and get away from the police. Boiler Room is a hip movie, and the only way you could ever like it, is only if you take enough time. With a great cast of middle aged stars,such as, Vin Diesel, Scott Caan, Nia Long, Jamie Kennedy, and many more. Boiler Room makes you think twice on trusting people, and knowing the truth behind everything you deal with. Was this review helpful?
