I will definitely own this film on DVD--add it to the collection of other silly, but incredibly entertaining films. I saw it twice already and Im gonna keep going as long as I have people who havent seen it who are willing to go with me! There are so many funny lines, Ive been quoting it all week! We were all laughing so hard. So many folks are saying negative stuff and they shouldnt be. It is a comedy not a drama or documentary, it wasnt supposed to have a serious storyline behind it, nothing life changing and it delivered just that. If you dont want to see COMEDY, then dont see this movie. It is PURE ENTERTAINMENT. We had just had a very busy, stressful week. This movie was just the ticket we needed. We all HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for just plain fun and escape from your busy everyday lives - - that is what entertainment is supposed to be, right?! Was this review helpful? It was better the first time since you didnt have a clue about what was going to happen, however, the second time was still hilarious! I loved it! I dont think Id laughed that hard in a lonnnnnng time! I went to see it with a foriegn exchange student and he thought it was absolutely hilarious! We were both laughing the entire time. I, however, really enjoy the humor of these shows. It was a bit raunchy at times, and just plain stupid, but I did find it very funny and a good movie to watch. I think Napolean Dynamite, also a MTV movie, is really funny. But, Blades of Glory is not. Stuff that was suppose to be funny was just stupid. Maybe a laugh once or twice, but that is it. Its got Will F.Posted: 4/13/2007A review of Blades of Glory by Anonymous This is a typical Will Ferrel ridiculous, sarcastic, and hilarious flick. Its impossible not to laugh in some parts. This movie most reminds me of Anchorman except with fruitiness. I honestly laughed all the way through. Its one of those movies where you cant possibly pick a favorite part in it cause its all good. Dont bring anyone - UNDER 14 - to see this however. Youre going to have to do some explaining for what your kid just saw and heard due to alot of sexual humor. Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrel) is a sex addict and from beginning to end of the movie is making sexual remarks and sex-related comments. Hilarious for the older crowd but too straight forward for a younger, innocent crowd. 5 out-of 5. Great Movie. Was this review helpful?
