Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  ?????????Posted: 1/7/2007A review of Black Christmas by horrorcritic i just saw the movie and was completely grossed out by it yet i saw great potential in it also, yet it wasnt that scary. if you dont like blood and guts dont see this movie cuz it was exploading with that stuff, there wasnt one murder that they left to your imagination. I think the main reason this movie will not do that good in theaters is because it takes place on the religious holiday Christmas, yet the story could have worked on any day of the year (with afew changes of course)
Even If you like horror movies and want to see this one, you should just wait till it comes out on dvd cuz its not worth the money, but it was pretty good
Black Christmas is a remake of a 1974 Canadian horror film that never got the credit it deserved for being the first slasher movie, but was not released to America till Halloweens seqeul came out and its title was changed to Stranger in the House to not cause controversy Was this review helpful? Its one of those movies were you think youve been watching for an hour or so, and check your watch and realize that only 15 minutes have passed. I really wish MSN had a zero star, or negative star rating. Because with one star, there is an assumption that there is something of little value with this movie. Which there is most certainly not.
