Sign In 3 out of 3 users found this helpful  It's "Excellent!"Posted: 7/14/2003A review of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure by claytarget Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure was definetly one of the best films of the 80s. This is the movie that got Keanu Reeves(who played Ted) roles in movies such as "SPEED" and "THE MATRIX". It also made the words "dude" and "bogus" cool. The only thing they knew in history until they had traveled through time was that Napoleon, was a short, dead dude, Joan of Arc was Noah's wife, and that Caesar, was a salad dressing. It is a fun and silly movie and I recommend it to anyone who likes Keanu Reeves, 80s movies, or just fun movies. Was this review helpful? They are radical! ";Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure"; and ";Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey"; are 2 of the best movies i have ever seen! Keana Reeves and Alex Winter do a bodacious job on the movies. Keana and Alex are both complete hunks! I think they should come out with a number 3 Bill And Ted movie. It would be non-hanus to see them in concert! They rock! I love the Wyld Stalyns! It peers way way back, even to Socrates. And it even shows us *GASP* the eighties. This movie also has moral values such as ";Be excellent to each other."; I'll carry these words of wisdom with me forever. If you like to watch movies, then you gotta see this one! It's about two dudes, Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves), who are failing history 'cause they've been trying to form a totally excellent band called Wyld Stallyns. They must get an A+ on their history report, or they fail! Bogus! Luckily, a most bodacious old man named Rufus (George Carlin) has come from the future in a phone booth (actually a time machine) to help them, because if they fail, Ted's dad will send him to military school, they will never start their band, and the future will be terrible. So, they go back in time and meet many historical people such as Napoleon ";The short, dead dude";, ";Noah's wife"; Joan of Arc, Billy, or ";Mister"; the Kid, and 2 princess babes, and have a most EXCELLENT adventure. This movie made Keanu Reeves a star and is definately his best film ever. Filmed in 1987 and released in 1989, this film launched a sequel and a Saturday morning cartoon series, and this movie really RULES!! You gotta get it!
