I cancelled HBO when it came on just so I wouldn't have to see it 400 times. Since when can people living in a 2000 dollar house afford a 10,000 dollar bike. How did that hillbilly Kid Rock fit in with the "hard-core gangsters"? I can't remember where this is supposed to take place but where I'm from a hillbilly get his ass kicked if he is any where near a ghetto. If there was any justice in this movie, all the shitty characters would have died five minutes into the movie and I wouldn't have wasted those two hours. Was this review helpful? Sign In 3 out of 3 users found this helpful  BikerBoyz A REAL MOVIE & ADRENALINE PUREPosted: 5/4/2004A review of Biker Boyz by °ROJITA_030° Soy Peruana y quiero felicitar a todos los que hicieron posible ésta producción, sin desmerecer a nadie, creación, dirección, producción, actuación, etc. En éstos tiempos donde ya no se ven películas con argumentos tan reales y sencillas, donde se demuestra realmente la calidad de actores y su trabajo sin necesidad de tanta tecnología y efectos especiales, solo de su profesionalismo, el argumento puede ser algo cotidiano pero porque criticar algo que se vive a diario entre la juventud, no me imagino a mi hijo volando como Matrix o usando una motocicleta como avión, que es lo que se ve en Torque, la realidad en la que se basa ésta producción y la creíble escenificación y actuación hace de ésta película un excelente motivo para disfrutarla en familia, porque tiene aparte de acción y full adrenalina, un argumento real del que se pueden rescatar experiencias, ejemplos, consecuencias y valores humanos, los mismos que con tanta ficción se están perdiendo, ya la he visto 3 veces y lo volvería a hacer, realmente me gustó al igual que a toda la familia. ¡¡¡ CONGRATULATIONS , espero poder disfrutar pronto de una producción tan bien orientada y real.<br>He deseado mucho leer las reseñas, el origen y la experiencia de los actores, también sé que está basada en hecho real, pero lamentablemente no domino el ingles y me apena no poder enterarme un poco más de todo lo que prescede a ésta producción.<br>Una vez más mis felicitaciones a todos los que hicieron posible que ésta película sea una realidad. The story line and the nature of the movie deserves a one because it was really bad. If you like fantasy I suppose it will suit your theatrical needs. He is a real honey. I suggest seeing Joe Dirt also, b/c Kid Rock is in that too. The stunts were amazing. Storyline was great also. If you like Bikes you'll like this movie. Alot of action. To the guy who says he rides for a living I would like to ask how he can possibly like this POS movie. I would like to see him drag race his bike through dirt farmalnds. How he sees thios and still likes this movie is beyound me. The movie is NOT what motorcycling is about. And if you want to get a bike only after you see this movie DON'T! Not because of ";what it would do to the sport";, but because the plot and the action (plot + action = entire movie) is - improbable and / or silly.In the grand tradition of such icons of the cinema as Driven and The Fast And The Furious, the writers (and their accomplices, the producers and directors) would have us believe:- Wheeled vehicles fly better than most combat aircraft, with climb rates that would make an F-16 jealous.- Most cars and bikes have as many as twelve gears in their transmissions, judging by then number of shifts performed during some of straight-line acceleration contest in these movies- The average drag race is about three minutes in length- Races are almost always decided by two things: One driver/rider (finally) decides to open the throttle some more and/or upshift into 8th gear - OR -Their nemesis / friend / personal Yoda suffers a mechanical failure or ";gifts"; them with the win.- Going faster than 50 mph creates a localized ";worm-hole"; that magically guides you through the race, but if you get distracted you will fall out of the ";worm-hole";, crash and die (but only if the writer doesn't like you).Can a motorsport movie do better? I hope so...Hey, I am not asking for Citizen Kane - ";Gone In Sixty Seconds"; wasn't exactly ";A Beautiful Mind";, but it wasn't as down-right insultingly stupid as the movies mentioned above. It is strictly for the motorcycle fans. If you dont ride, you may not truly understand it. Having enough guts to ride is one thing, but to do the stunts...thats real guts. Its a bike classic and the first time African American biker story...this will be a cult classic. Oh and its mainly sportbikes and that is a different genre of rider....so sporkbike fans will love it. Was this review helpful?
