I first saw it when i was 5, and ever since then it has been my favorite movie. in elementary school me and my friends would reinact the movie. I always called the part of Jack Burton. I didnt figure out why he called his truck the Pork Chop express until I was about 10 years old. Kurt Russell did amazing in this movie. Tango and Cash used to be my favorite movie of his, but that changed when I saw that truck rolling up the hill. Was this review helpful? Lots of fun, slickly produced, and carefree. Probably Carpenter's best film. Predates the American phase of Jackie Chan's career substantially, yet is obviously influential in the "slapstick chop sockey" genre. One might say ... visionary. Was this review helpful? This is a supernatural thriller and witty comedy rolled into one awesome movie. Kurt Russell has what it takes to pull of this combination and James Hong is perfect as Lo Pan. Lots of adventure, and comedy in this fiction movie...for the family its a great one!I loved it and enjoyed it a lot. Was this review helpful?
