When I was a little kid, I watched the television show. Then I entered the first grade, learned to read and started getting the comics. First thought was, "That show is NOT Batman". Michael Douglas did a great job with what he was given but Tim Burton's vision of Batman still wasn't it. Chris Nolan and Christian Bale did it. Michael Caine is the Alfred that I've waited for and Gary Oldman was great as Jim Gordon. Morgan Freeman made Lucius Fox his own. Last but certainly not least Liam Neeson as Ras Al-Ghul and Cillion Murphy as Dr. Crane/Scare Crow, perfect casting.

This movie was great!!!! I love Christian Bale...hes a fantastic actor. Equilibrium and Reign of Fire would be other great watches. I wasnt really into the comic books, but this was one of my favorite Batman movies. The others just seemed too cartoongoth. This one had a more realistic feel to it. All in all it was a great watch. Special effects and the supporting cast were all great.

Am I the only one who thought this movie wasnt that great? id give it a 2.5 but i cant so a 3 is generous. The part with Liam Neeson was good, it showed the adaptation Bruce Wayne had to go through in order to become Batman, but after that it really fell apart. THE MOVIE NEVER WENT ANYWHERE! One of the main reasons i didnt like this movie was that it accomplished so little. whatever, thats what I thought

What can I say? Its a great work of art that doesnt disappoint at all. If youre a Marvel or DC Comic book fan, and love Batman, then this movie is well worth your time. The one great thing of all about this movie is that there are parts in this movie where you think, I could do that or That cant be possible. Yeah? Well, beleive it, because its Hollywood, and this movie is just too great to put in words. I love owning the DVD, because I get to watch it whenever I want. Could be tonight. But hey, if you didnt have anything better to do, then watch this movie, its just too awesome and fun.

And now.....Christian Bale puts on the uniform in the best batman movie. Batman Begins tells the story of a man Bruce Wayne who has been seeking vengeance since childhood for his parents deaths. He heads to the East, where he trains with ninja Ras Al-Ghul and his aide, Henri Ducard . Upon returning to Gotham, Wayne finds his city terrorized by crooks and the Scarecrow and is disturbed to discover that the villains are working for for someone even more devious. Only his one-time flame Rachel. The movie is around 2 hours some could say it was slow starting but the beging is not boreing it was fun to watch not one of those movies were the beging is nothing to the movie but this one has meaning. The movie is great Katie Holmes is great Christian Bale is the best batman. You have to see it its great.

Finally a Batman movie that was close to the mark. But why does every Batman movie have to give away his identity? And whats with the rubber suits? And when are we going to see Batman put his detective skills to work? Batman Begins comes as close as any Batman movie has come, to showing us the comic book hero we all wish we could be. In this movie we see why he becomes Batman (although twisted a bit) and we see his anger, confusion, vengence, and determination. All of which the other movies failed to show us and what we wanted and needed to see in a Batman movie. Joel Schmuck-mocker should have never been allowed near any Batman film. We seen his version and it was just gad-awful! (60s camp meets homoerotica). Tim Burton could have done better, but didnt (Goth meets icon). Thank you, Christopher Nolan. Now if we could get you, Warner Brothers and Sandy Collora together on a Bat-flick.....

The great thing about Batman Begins is that it moves as far away as a superhero movie can be. In fact, Batman Begins isnt a superhero movie at all. It is a study of basic human instinct, of pain, of fear. None of that campy WHAM POW stuff from the other Batman movies (that one is for you, George Clooney). Could there be a more perfect superhero than one not driven by kindness, but by what is hidden in the darkest depths of his soul? Anyway, terrific film. Will excite you and scare you silly.

Best Batman ever. Actor playing Batman plays the role perfectly with a more dark feel than previous versions i found it much truer to the comics i grew up with.

The best Batman movie since the original (Michael Keaton). Even though the upcoming X-Men movie will eclipse it, one of the best Comic book, action movies ever made. Can't wait for the sequel but why do another movie with the Joker?

This Summer's and I believe "The Movie of the 2005". The start of the untold beginning of the Legendary Superhero. This movie incorporates some of the best graphics without deviating too much from Batman's capabilites and thereby not spoiling the movie. Warner Brothers have done justice for some of the disappointments in the earlier movies. This movie can be easily compared with the first movie, "The Batman", and the actors chosen to play Batman in this movie and the first movie, gave justice to the character of Batman and Bruce Wayne. The others actors too, such as for Alfed his faithful butler have also been done justice in this movie too! All the gadgets of Batman have also been incorporated into this movie, with the amazing tumbler (The Batmobile) and the amazing cape. Any Batman fan or even any person wanting to watch a movie, then "Batman Begins" is the movie to watch. Thank you Warner Bros, for the start of the Sequel of the story of Batman. " Please Watch an original copy of Batman Begins to witness the true feeling of the movie, preferably at a Movie theater or at home with a good set surrounds speakers and LCD screen" I personally watched the movie on its World Premier in Malaysia (TGV cinema) and twice after that. So Suit up, strap in and take off for the action thriller of 2005 - Batman Begins!

In 1989, a classic hero hit the big screen. Batman's success was widely known, and as more film were made of the dark knight, that success slowly decrease. As Tim Burton and his dark movies brought Batman to the top, Joel Schumacher's comedic look at Batman did not live up to the expections of Batman fans. Three years after the release of Batman and Robin, DC was pushed aside as Marvel began its conquest to dominate the big screen with X-Men, which was followed two years later by Marvel's greatest hit, Spider-Man. It seemed that DC would have to deliver an outstanding movie, and that movie is Batman Begins. Batman Begins dominated the box office with Christopher Nolan's vision of a realistic Batman, who was born from the pain of Bruce Wayne. Christian Bale portrays Bruce Wayne with such skill that no living man can portray Batman as he has. Batman Begins is also an amazing movie because it stays true to the comics. The movie has many things that are based off the Dark Knight comics, and a perfect example of that is the Batmobile. This box office hit also has great action and an A list cast, including Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Liam Neeson as Henri Ducard, Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawson, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, and Morgan Freeman as Lucias Fox. As fans flock to this Batman movie which has given DC a second chance in the competion of the big screen, critics hail this movie. If any movie is worthy of your money this summer, that movie is Batman Begins.
