Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  bankock dangerousPosted: 1/10/2009A review of Bangkok Dangerous by elawton i saw this film in theaters when first came out and can honestly say that it was one of the best movies i saw cage ever do.many of the critics out there may dissagre with me but in my opinion the film was a very well acted action packed film. it has a really good storyline and unlike many others really liked the lovestory involved. which i wont say anymore about so wont ruin the film for you other than it is a definette must see. Charlie Young is charmingly beautiful as the fated love interest. The movie got only average critic reviews but I think is a little bit better than that. The climax is rather poignant and intense. But the movie continually bogs down, & the action seemed like an after thought. At the beginning, Nicolas Cage's character is shown as a heartless assasin. But later in the movie, he's going on dates, becoming a mentor...? The movie seemed to drag on, and about halfway through I found myself looking at my watch & thinking, how much longer? I FELT AS IF THE FLICK COULD HAVE HAD ALOT MORE EXCITEMENT AND THE MOVIE SEEMED AS IF IT TRIED TO MIX IN A LOVE STORY THAT JUS DID NOT FIT!!!
