Billy Bob plays the character perfect. I gave it 5 stars due to humor, not storyline. Was this review helpful? This movie should be a classic, but because of all the adult material, it's not. Sex appeal only belongs in films that have nothing else to offer. I don't have a problem with adult material, but in the case of this movie it removed the universitality of the movie and prevented it from becoming a true classic. Was this review helpful? Billy Bob played jolly Saint Nick (like as he evers gives a f***) so well like giving Political Correctness a "black eye"
All u critics of this movie should hid eunder a rock bcause of all the profanity & vulgarness.
New Zealand got the naughty version on DVD while you wussy yanks have to choose between the rated version or the naughty uncensored movie..

They certainly did "push the envelope" here in terms of vile behavior. Lots of funny characters including Bernie Mack, Tony Cox and John Ritter. Was this review helpful? I never thought Billy Bob Thornton could do a comedy role. my favorite part is when he's leaving the mall before he robs it, the security guard stops him. Billy: "What the f***? What's you're problem? I'm trying to f***in leave here."<br>Security: "You're pants are pretty baggy,got anything in there?" Billy: "Yeah my dick wanna se it?" I was cracking up the way he said that. And the part when he moved into the kids house, and how he was acting made me rewind it again. LOL! The most part I liked about this movie is the swearing, they went alout on it. amazing! It's a foul-mouthed movie that only twisted minds could bring you, but for the sake of originality, "Bad Santa" pulls it off. Not many movies can carry a raunchy heart, but this one does. Destined to become the complete opposite of "It's A Wonderful Life," "Bad Santa" is for all of us who have been anxiously awaiting the anti-Christmas movie. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful bad santathis movie is for guys and maybe a few girls. i mean i know the title is bad santa, but come on. anyone who knows right from wrong would hate this movie. i don't get why guys have such low morality sometimes. that's why most guys loved the movie. billy bob thorton was good in it. he made me hate him. i was surprised when i saw that girl from gilmore girls. she didn't seem the type to be in a movie like this. i guess it was her choice. john ritter is so sweet in this movie. i wished before he died he got to do another movie because he didn't deserve to have his last movie be bad santa. he could have definatly done better. i may have laughed at some parts, but most of the movie made me feel like puking. i felt so bad for the kid. he was so innocent and so alone in the world. then he hangs out with "santy clause" and he just kinda corrupts him. some people's reviews say this is realistic, but i don't care no one should talk to a kid the way billy bob did. i only watched this movie because my cousins rented it and the only ones that like it were the guys. i wanted to give it no stars, but can't.
